Nice hotel 🏨

I did enjoy my stay in this hotel. The owner is very nice. He speak quite good English and he can be very helpful. They do have a pool. They do have a breakfast in the hotel as well. It cost. My hope was very pleasant and quite large.

Staff was incredibly friendly. I arrived in pretty poor shape after getting altitude sickness on Acatenango. They were patient with me. I had a comfortable room with a large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and the location is tucked off of a main road down an alley. It was easy walking distance to all of Pana. When my bus to Guatemala City didn’t see me at the pick up spot, the owner assisted by taking a phone call from the agency (I was only using my phone on wifi) and helped wave them down for me. Definitely recommend.

Check-in was quick, but I never got a key to my room (even after asking for one) and had to leave it unlocked whenever I left. The water was cut off on my second day, and they transferred me to another place up the street for the remainder of my stay. Walls are paper thin - I could hear the toilet flush from the next room over.

Cables coming out of walls no tv in the room no warm water one faucet not working . no adequat light in the room. No light by the bed. The only good about it was the price and friendly girl at the reception. I am really surprise that expedia is promoting that hotel.

Avoid at all cost

We booked Hotel Victoria, but when we arrived there was no one at the reception. People on the street redirected us to the next hotel, Posada Gutierez, as apparently was under the same chain/owner. We were offered accommodation at another (3rd location) within a villa that looked like it was still under construction. All ceilings were unfinished, all bed linings and towels were not cleaned properly. There was an area to be shared, including a kitchen, where a whole window was missing. In front of the villa there was like a garage were they were repairing their cars. And a dog loose, which didnt mind pooping inside the villa on the sofa. Wifi reception and speed super bad. Please make sure you avoid this amazing accommodation.

À notre arrivée à l’hôtel, déception de constater l’état des lieu mais aussi de ne pas avoir de serviettes dans la chambre! Après avoir demandé a deux reprises des serviettes, la première fois on nous a servie des serviettes mouillées et à la deuxième demande on a fini par avoir UNE serviette pour DEUX personnes !! Nous avons réservé pour 4 nuits déceptions ! Mauvaise Connection internet.Lit très inconfortable. Endroit pas très propre du moins la moisissure y est bien présente. Je vous épargne l’endroit pour le petit déjeuner inclus qui était en rénovation donc nous avions droit à du cassage de bétons comme musique de font !

The staff are incredible and the free breakfast is delicious. There is a water-refill station. The power was out all over the lake the day I was there so I’m not sure if the internet is good, or if there is hot water. If you’re a solo-traveler looking to meet people, this is not the spot

Really nice hotel in Panajachel. Convenient location. Breakfast included and served on a terrace with a view. Great if you are staying few days in Panajachel. Note - must do - Paraglading - lifetime experience above lake Atitlan.

Value for Money Hotel in Panajachel

For the price this hotel is a no brainer! It is located about a 5min walk to the Church and market and about a 12min walk to Calle Santander(the main drag). Check-in was speedy and the room readied as I checked in around 10:30am. The room on the first floor was spacious, clean with an attached bath with good water pressure and hot water. There was also a TV with English language programing including CNN and BBC. The wifi worked well in all areas and breakfast served on the terrace consisted of fruits, eggs, toast and coffee. Also located a few feet from the hotel on the main road is a Supermarket and a few local eating places. Service on the whole was efficient especially with the Manager on duty. Overall, an excellent deal.
