The hotel was great, the rooms were clean and quite affordable. The area was safe and the pool along with the other amenities were nice additions to the reservation. We also showed up early and they allowed us to leave our bags there, about 2 hours before our reservation. They asked for our passports to sign in which was weird but it didn’t take too long.
The pictures are deceiving. But it is worth the price you pay. very economical. Safe area right next to the Calle de Playa where all the restaurants. Bars and open market is located.
The staff at this hotel are the problem. My daughter spilled some milk on the bed and they made me pay an extra 150 quetzales... plus there was no water at night .. Please be careful!!
We stayed one night. Wouldn't have stayed more than that. I didn't even want to take a shower. Beds were dirty. I told the lady about it at the front desk and she just said she would tell the cleaning lady. Pool was dangerous with weird angles. Shower had tiles missing, and water would come out without fully closing the water valve. Would not recommend.

I do not recommend staying here, me and my family went on vacation and decided to stay here at the hana hotel resort the service here was terrible and they scam people here by giving you towels for free then they sneak into your room and take one or two then they make you pay a way overpriced fee 0/10 do not recommend.
Clean and nice place. Really worth it for the Price. Only a lots of barking dogd during the night.

We stayed in Room #1. The view was exceptional looking at the volcanos. It really wasn’t very noisy. In Pana there are a lot of dogs in the streets and they can be quite noisy. If you are looking for a five star hotel, this isn’t the place. But I would stay there again on our next trip to the lake. There is a little swimming pool but my wife and I didn’t use it. Bring your own washcloths as they are a rare commodity when traveling in central and South America.
Walkable, DOES NOT include breakfast if reserved via Expedia. Located in safe area, they have security and restaurant is next to hotel in same property. Friendly staff, wifi

Do not be fooled by the "tranquil" description or the photos of this property; it was a total bait and switch. We paid a premium for a lake-view room expecting a relaxing stay, but it was the opposite of hospitable. The noise levels are professional-grade and physically painful—live music and microphones blasted until 1:30 AM for four nights straight, vibrating the bed and rattling the windows so loudly that earplugs were useless. We actually had to miss our morning tours just to catch up on sleep.
The "amenities" are equally misleading. The swimming pool is actually a small, dirty kiddie pool, the WiFi is non-functional (making it impossible to book transport or tours), and the hot water lasted less than a minute. To make matters worse, the room was freezing due to drafty windows and only a thin blanket provided.
Most disappointing was the management. Despite my being a seasoned traveler and speaking the local language, I was treated with condescension and dismissed like a "clueless tourist." They repeatedly lied about noise ordinances and claimed the hotel was full when we could clearly see vacant, quieter rooms available. With no one at the front desk, we were forced to plea for help via WhatsApp to no avail. We eventually had to cut our 5-night stay short and spend hundreds more to find a livable hotel. This was a toxic experience that ruined our trip. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
