The most beautiful hotel in Panajachel right on the lake. The grounds are immaculate and beautifully decorated. The plants in the gardens were lush and many beautiful birds to greet you. I didn’t want to leave!!

Beautiful property. Friendly, helpful staff. No AC but had fans. ( actually very few places have AC ). The only catch to having beautiful grounds is the need to have lots of ground keeper work thus noisy lawn mowers, weed wackers, etc... And since no AC windows need to be kept open.

The hotel grounds are beautiful and the view of the lake here is amazing! I'd say the highlight of our stay was exploring the gardens and enjoying the pool. I did feel like the hotel's restaurant was overpriced and we didn't always enjoy the meals there. While the hotel surroundings are stunning, the hotel could use better lounging areas outside (like hammocks) and update the rooms (they were somewhat dated, poorly lit, and like previous reviews stated, wifi wasn't accessible from the room). The lack of AC was never an issue for us since the temperature during our stay was cool.

The hotel is beautiful, has a wonderful view of the volcano and the lake. The pool an jacuzzi are very nice. The food in the restaurant was average. The problem was the room. We stayed at a master room with a balcony overlooking the lake, that part was nice, however, none of the rooms have AC, they gave us an extra fan, the safety box didn’t work, a maintenance guy had to come and fix it which took a while. The second day we didn’t have water anywhere in the bathroom but fortunately we got it back at the end of the day. And then we noticed there were ants in the room, including the bathroom. They were crawling on the night stands and the coffee table. We asked that they clean the room since they couldn’t change to another room. The hotel is impressive, has beautiful botanical gardens all around but there are rough almost camping conditions in the rooms, which I wouldn’t have minded when I was much younger

Incredible hotel - one of the best views ever, very stylish but according to local architecture and style and not very westernised (in a good way). The staff was super helpful, and nice! The music was great too - it was like a little oasis, we didn’t wanna leave the hotel. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed - the photos don’t do it justice !!!
