I was told 3-4 different prices higher each time, when I called the property later in the day but per my departure at 12pm the same day the room was $70, as well as Expedia. Then it said suddenly "no rooms available for chosen date" so I called, told they had room for $96. Called back, told it was $150-180. I had traveled after a VERY long day just to patronize again as this hotel is HORRIBLE: dirty room, dirty bed, dirty and damp towels, no water pressure, dirty floors, and frighteningly deceptive as it was quite vacant per my 11:15pm arrival, which I am expecting the same greeting as the 1st evening, but told a different price by 3 different agents at front desk. It was not just "as if they were" but they DID PRICE GOUGE ME AND LIE ONLINE REGARDING VACANY AND PRICE. The younger man, assuming the son, saw (and I do understand many languages- it's smart to be kind to everyone, especially Valentine's day near midnight.) I explained several times my problem with converting Euro at the moment, so had only enough for the $96 quote. He glanced at my phone and saw the complete anount in my USD account and literally told the other representative out of sight how much I had, used a calculator in front of me and adjusted taxes and all to make it every $ I had for a gross, one damp dingey towel, no TV, gross shower, and just, deceptive/cruel treatment to a ret guest who'd just've stayed in Palm Springs for Valentine's day, decided I'd like some rest. REFUND PLEASE?!
