I love the 1960's/1970's vibe of the place. Fantastic. Just a short walk to the downrown area with so many restaurants to choose from. Definitely coming back!
I rented a suite for one night at the Hideaway and I could live in this little room - what used to be a tiny apartment complex back in the day.
Love it! Will definitely stay here again!
I adore this hotel and their crew. It is so well maintained, I loved the room, the pool is beautiful, you cannot beat the location for food and easy parking, and the view is just awe inspiring. It felt like an apartment and the snacks saved me after a long day of travel. Love the team and cannot wait to get back to stay here again!
Barely saw or spoke to another human other than the maid. It was blissful. Pool is great, rooms cute, and when you’re ready for people downtown is a five minute walk.
No kids! Delightful! No crappy music at the pool! Rad!

The location is absolutely superb. Only a couple blocks from Indian Canyon Drive, which is the main strip. Although it’s so quiet and peaceful you wouldn’t really know it. Just a couple blocks away from the base of the mountains. The grounds are immaculate with lemon trees. The kitchen is not open. It’s been closed since Covid. The shower doors are extremely extremely small. There was mold (black) growing on the caulking from the window windows in the shower. Everything else was clean and in good order. Pool was clean. And it was relatively quiet. The rooms reflect the 1947 lack of insulation so you can hear your neighbors but not excessively overwhelmingly.
Nice relaxing stay. The hotel is quiet and clean and in a great location. I wish there were more umbrellas around the pool and the pool could use daily cleaning. We would definitely stay here again
We origionally booked here but due to a scheduling conflict we were moved to another property they managed. It was the Desert Hills Hotel. The move was to accomidate our request to be nearer the Arenas District. The staff was very helpful every step of the way. We were thrilled with the room and property when we arrived. Our accomidations were full MID-Century Modern. It had everything we could of wanted. Spacious, clean, quite.
It is a contactless hotel but the staff was very good. Checking in several times to make sure every was ok or if we needed anything. We definately plan to keep them in mind for our next trip to Palm Springs.
Wonderful little hotel in the desert. Small and quiet, but just a short walk from downtown. Easy contactless check in. If you prefer charm of retro architecture and design this is a great spot. Would stay again.
Such a beautiful and serene hotel. No big negatives other than the bathroom isn’t really a $260-a-night-type bathroom. It ’s old and dated. Could use better shower heads. Also, the AC in our room wasn’t very cool. Other than that, wonderful place and stay and actually would stay again! Staff, although you don’t really see them, other than the cleaning lady who was super great, but they’re very responsive and friendly to work with. We look forward coming back!
This is not a luxury hotel. It’s a cool hotel with the architectural history of mid century, modern by Herbert Burns. Very cool room to exterior layout.
Fabulous mid century style hotel. Loved everything about it from the room to the pool to the gardens to complimentary water/coffee etc. We wish we could have stayed longer.
A fabulous place to stay in Palm Springs. Loved our room, loved the pool, friendly people. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and well appointed. Located in a great part of town. Close to downtown but still quiet. Will definitely stay here again.
