We drove in from Santa Barbara. Eating around the hotel area was excellent. However we were not advised on the excessive extra fees at this location. Upon discharge cost of almost $200 extra were added to cover bikes which we didn't use, internet which should be free, resort fees. We also had to valet and park was literally 10 feet away. I will say the bedding was nice. Pool was nice. Room is small and no luggage racks which would have been nice but the room was too small to accommodate. Grounds were nice, hot tub was nice and location was great for walking to nicer restaurants. Main drag of name brands were several miles away which made this more quiet and local feeling. Rooms next door were a bit noisy but we had a sound machine. Overall not a bad stay but the extra fees seemed excessive as this was NOT a resort.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Colony Palms for my husband's birthday. All of the staff from our restaurant/pool attendant Sam, to check in staff like Deanna and Christina, Kai, and our valet Jared made us feel so welcomed and taken care of during our entire stay.
