This is NOT a hotel! It is not even a B&B since it does not offer any breakfast or coffee (no restaurant or room service is available onsite and the alcohol bar was closed during our stay). The reception desk is open only during the day and you are expected to let yourself in and out to the 10th floor without any staff assistance using one of two very busy tiny elevators (2 people max) which are servicing all other floors as well. The building houses other offices/businesses on the floors below “The Skyline” level.
On the good side: this is a very clean facility which was recently repainted all white. The view from our room was beautiful, overlooking Palermo. The room was hower rather small. Most unfortunately, the impeccably clean bathroom was filled with very strong smell of mold coming from the pipes. The noise insulation is poor- you can hear other guests and elevators going up and down. Most hotels room are on the 10th floor but some are located above and can be only accesses by very steep stairs. Not recommended for people expecting hotel amenities. A “fast food” cafe is located on the same street with coffee and sweet pastries available in the mornings.
