Vacations Close To Palais des Sports Pierre Ratte

The location of the hotel is excellent, only a five minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe and lots of nearby restaurants and bars too. Our room was a bit 'tired' and could have done with fresh paint and carpet. However, the beds were comfortable and shower was great.

The hotel was very charming, tucked away in a quiet and clean street but very close to the Eiffel Tower and other attractions. We had a room with the Eiffel Tower view, and you can see the top third of it in the distance. If you’re booking from United States, there are couple of things to keep in mind: things that Americans assume as a standard hotel amenities are not present: microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Room did have a tea pot to boil water and instant coffee and cups were available for making coffee in the room. Additionally, the bathroom was TINY ( my knees were touching the shower door when I sat on the toilet and I am a small woman). Housekeeping was daily and overall we had a very pleasant stay with a good view of the top part of the Eiffel Tower. I would stay in this hotel again.

Upon our arrival, we immediately realized the hotel was under construction. In fact, our taxi driver couldn’t even locate the entrance because it had been affected by the construction work. Imagine arriving in Paris for the first time and having that as your welcome. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse. The only window in our room looked directly onto construction scaffolding, completely eliminating any sense of the city or natural light. Had this been disclosed before booking, I would have chosen a different hotel. It felt like false advertising. When we asked to change rooms, one staff member told us it would be possible, only for another to later say it was not. What was most disappointing wasn’t even the refusal—it was the complete lack of empathy. No apology for the inconvenience, no acknowledgment that the construction had significantly impacted our stay, and no effort to make things right. Paris is an incredible city, but our first impression was overshadowed by an experience that felt misleading and poorly handled. I left disappointed.

Great space, we had adjoining rooms which was perfect for our family of 4. Updated clean and air conditioned! Small balcony but we could see Eiffel Tower from ours. Location was fantastic quick walk to Rue Cler and several great shops near. Would definitely stay here again
