Had a very comfortable room with a sea view, handy location for short walk into main restaurants & beach area. Whilst hotel decor might be considered slightly dated, for us it gave a nostalgic charm. Breakfasts were amazing - lots of choice! Staff all very friendly. Recommend & would stay again.👍😀

Basic but comfortable. We had a family of four staying, and the staff came in and made the two little convertible chairs into beds for us without our asking. Breakfast was very good. I cannot speak to parking because we were walking the Cami de Ronda and stayed here on the first night of our hiking trip.

We found Hotel Portbo to be a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the beautiful Calella de Palafrugell. There is a friendly and accommodating staff, the accommodations were clean and well cared for, and the hotel is well-located only about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and the center of town. The hotel does not have elevator, but the gentleman who checked us in was very kind to carry our bags to the third floor upon arrival and departure. Many reviewers praised the free daily breakfast, and I agree that it was a special treat! The buffet was outstanding, with an extensive selection of fresh, delicious foods which were beautifully arranged and were as delicious as they looked! Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would heartily recommend Hotel Portbo to other travelers.
