“Wonderful check in staff and the restaurant staff were terrific. Hotel is definitely ageing and not necessarily well maintained. Check out was a real let down after the average room yet brilliant staff on arrival. There was a $20 voucher included with the booking and the lady on reception did not initially include it as a credit and when I mentioned it she was reluctant to deduct it off the charge of the meal booked to the room. “This is a really beautiful place and the room was enormous and the layout was so in keeping with the heritage level of the building. There was a tea set for tea or coffee, a king sized bed, a sofa for relaxing and a bath. Total luxury!”
