We have been here many times over the years. This was the first time since it reopened as Paradisus after refurbishment. We decided to try the Reserve level. It was much more expensive and did not offer very much extra in terms of facilities or dining options. The Reserve Pool area is enclosed by a concrete wall like a stockade or prison. It is still the windiest pool and we spent more time around the lagoon pool on the sheltered & sunnier side of the hotel. Reserve also offered breakfast in a separate dining area with table service. This area also served as a bar & lounge for Reserve during the day. Again we didn’t spend any time in there. The hotel was NOT full and a lot of staff were wandering around asking if everything was alright but they didn’t really want to hear anything but yes. The huge sandy beach is the attraction of this hotel for us and it is likely we will return, but not to the Reserve Level.

Un oasi in un contesto naturale incantevole

L hotel e’ inserito in una baia naturale che a seconda delle maree si creano dei laghi/paludi naturali. L effetto e’incantevole. Protetto dai venti, con una bella piscina circondata da palme e belle piante, e’ stupendo! L hotel e’ isolato dall abitato di costa calma, si puo approfittare giustamente di un ottimo relax e non sentirsi circondati da masse di cemento. Ideale per chi vuole fare lunghe camminate nella spiaggia infinita, come kite surf/wind surf. Accanto al mare un po piu in la sulla destra dell hotel si firma un lago naturale dove l acqua e piu calda, protetta. Ottimo servizio. Colazioni e pranzi solo a buffet, ampia scelta, forse manca un po di tocco locale da evidenziare. Hotel per tutti, famiglie, bambini. Struttura che ha vissuto gli anni ma che ritengo ottima proprio per l insieme. Veramente consigliato!!

Poolanlage sehr schön mit beheizten Pools für Kinder. Essen qualitativ besser als vor ein paar Jahren. Lage an der Lagune klasse zum Entspannen, da nie überfüllt, wenn man etwas läuft.

Nous étions en tout inclus, nourriture décevante et eau minéral payante, seulement quelques cocktails sont en tout inclus.Très bruyant le soir ainsi qu'au restaurant. Difficile de trouver un transat libre à moins de se lever avant 7h du matin, literie à renouveler.

Il est pratique, je fais du Windsurf, tout près du club, je viens manger près de la piscine, c’est excellent pour moi. Par contre, le gros problème, c’est la grande résonance désagréable de la salle à manger! Je préférais mettre une veste pour manger dehors… autrement tout ok , personnel très agréable.

Genial. Nos ayudaron en todo lo que pudieron. Nos dieron una habitación en la que se escuchaba mucho el viento, se lo dijimos y en seguida nos cambiaron a otra habitación en la que no se escuchaba nada. Como nuestro avión salía por la tarde, hicimos el check out a las 12, pero nos dejaron guardar las maletas en una habitación y nos dejaron ducharnos por la tarde antes de coger el vuelo. Así que todo muy bien, un acierto coger este hotel!

Sehr gut geführtes Hotel in Top-LAge

Wir waren zum dritten Mal in diesem Hotel und würden es immer wieder buchen, die Lage ist wirklich einzigartig. Seit unserem letzten Aufenthalt 2018 wurden einige Renovierungen durchgeführt (z.B. Liegen/ Sonnenschirme und Bodenbelag um den Hauptpool). Essen hervorragend in Auswahl und Qualität. Badezimmer etwas altmodisch, aber insgesamt sehr gute Bauausführung mit Top-Schallschutz. Sehr gut geschultes, freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen.

Personnel très compétent et agréable. Hôtel très propre, seul bémol les serviettes de la salle de bain sont rêches, et le personnel ne parle pas du tout français, compliqué pour se faire comprendre Cela fait 3 années que nous venons dans cet établissement et nous sommes très contents.

Super tolle Lage, aber in die Jahre gekommen.

Das Hotel ist in der Tat schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, schließlich kenne ich es selbst seit 1983. die Fliesen im Badezimmer waren kaputt, aber alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch das Essen war toll, nur der Speisesaal ist landestypisch eher mit einer Bahnhofshalle zu vergleichen, sehr laut. Ich hatte auch die ganze Zeit einen Leihwagen, der oft nur sehr schlecht einen Parkplatz fand

Bel emplacement, tres bien pour un court séjour

Emplacement idéal et vue imprenable. La plage parfaite pour de longues promenades et les adeptes du kite! Staff en général très serviable. Ce qui fait oublier les points négatifs : infrastructure un peu “dépassée”, ascenseurs en panne (pas top quand on a une chambre au 8eme étage), douches manquent de puissance et mauvaise évacuation (on se douche avec de l’eau jusqu’au mollets). Le restaurant “all in” est une vraie cafétéria bruyante, buffet insipide.

Lage des Hotels Zimmer (je nach Kategorie) mit grandiosem Ausblick. gepflegter Pool - Gesamtzustand Hotel veraltet. - Zimmer im Charm der 80er Jahre, z.T. in runtergekommenem Zustand, Renovierung dringend notwendig! - Frühstückssaal nicht nur von der Geräuschkulisse vergleichbar mit Großkantine. - zu wenig Personal - abgesehen von der Lage bestenfalls drei Sterne (Landeskategorie!)

Lovely location

Overall a very nice hotel and beach is beautiful. However staff, especially at reception/check in, need to improve efficiency as it took 50min to check in. Parking spaces are limited, I had to park off road near the beach few minutes walk from the hotel. Which is not great when you have luggage to carry

Llevamos varias visitas a este hotel, nos sentimos como en casa. Esta última vez tuvimos un pequeño problema a la entrada y nos lo solucionaron rápidamente con mucha amabilidad. Acceso a la playa, piscinas climatizadas, buen buffet y muy divertido para los niños. Muy recomendable.

The main pool was closed, as was the Oasis restaurant, despite us speaking to the hotel 2 days before our arrival and being assured only the gym would be. Ditto the poolside loos. The place felt woefully understaffed, with the waiters, chefs and bar staff doing their best to keep up - and working themselves ragged. There were only 2 water points in the main restaurant, and only one place in the outdoor area (bottles of wine were available at mealtimes, but not water), making it a faff to keep a family with small kids hydrated. Hospitality staff were helpful and worked hard, but the front desk were mainly uninterested and sometimes downright rude. There were also some ridiculous instances; asking for a plaster at front desk, all we got was a shrug and “go to mini market”, then the restaurant staff kindly looked for a first aid kit - only to realise there wasn’t one anywhere around the kitchen or serving area! (Eventually one of the lifeguards got one for us.) We had hoped to get a cake for our daughter’s 5th birthday, to which front desk said no, the kids’ activity coordinator said no but offered a bottle of cava (!!!), and only when I spoke to the manager was it arranged. We were prepared to pay extra, it wasn’t a case of entitlement, but the whole trip was built around our daughter’s birthday, and it was somewhat ridiculous that it took 3 (or actually, maybe 4) conversations with various folk before we could get a cake made. Got lots more to say, but it won’t fit!

Sad that I didn't see Fuerteventura

I didn't go yo Melia, because the hotel was closed during my time of reservation. I am sorry and feel very sad, because this suppose to be a dream vacation with my family. But Covid-18 took care of it! Therefore no photos, not memories! I used good remarques, because my friends were there last year...and they liked it.
