Very clean and tidy room, excellent layout with private bedroom. Lovely and warm in winter. Easy walk over the small hill to town for meals if you wish or close to the supermarket in the other direction. Only 1.5km walk to Waitangi Treaty grounds too. Would happily stay again.

The apartment itself met our needs and it was amazing being right across the road from the beach. Great kitchen facilities and lovely warm space. However, being on the bottom floor apartment means you can hear all upstairs and driveway noise which happened to be a lot during our stay and the parking is pretty tight outside the front apartments.

Cleaniness can be improved, specially in wet areas in the toilet and behind bedside tables. Cutlery was bare minimum. Minor additions such as a pairing knife or scissors are welcomed.
