Great value for money. The bedroom was very clean, and fresh looking. Parking was really good, and plenty of spaces. Could not of asked for a better location, as i got to walk by the seafront

Great Staff and Management friendly and welcoming, make you feel like home away from home. Parking is right in front of the hotel and there is lots of parking. Rooms are spacious and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Spacious and relaxing lounge and bar area. A mere two-minute walk to the beach and a lovely promenade, for a walk.

Bathroom’ no shelf’s to put toothbrush or soap Shower know where to put shower gel . Sealant around the shower door peeling off . Entrance in lift dirty and dried paint on the floor windows in bedroom very dirty.

The perfect family get away

Wonderful, attentive staff, great service, lovely room, great breakfast… our two boys cried when we told them we were going home! Thank you to all the team at the Esplanade for making our anniversary weekend such a memorable one.

Staff at the esplanade were extremely helpful couldn't do too much to help full English breakfasts were wonderfull as with all period properties you can find a niggle but we wouldn't hesitate to stay again in fact we will be booking again

Hotel was quiet as expected for late March. Staff very helpful the lift was working OK. Slight down side was traffic noise that’s not the hotel’s fault. Overall it was a great stay would recommend this hotel old building but a fabulous stay 🙂👍

Hotel was ideally located near main strip, staff extremely helpful with recommending places to eat evenings and breakfast. only downside is not enough plug sockets in rooms to charge phones but other than that a lovely stay

The staff are really nice, but the room wasnt the best, the bed was on a slope. The bathroom was very small to the point the toilet was hard to access, a garden hose would of been better than the shower. The hotel location is very good its not a bad hotel but dont expect much

It was out of season and was only there a few days so hard to say really. Staff were very helpful and made such an effort with any request, cant fault their helpfulness. Very clean and quite, but agin out of season.

Check in was quick and easy .we did have to change rooms due to a plumbing issue but it was delt with and we were upgraded to another room .Recrption staff were lovely very friendly .our stay was very short just a few days but we would stay there again .it was opposite the sea front

Very friendly hotel breakfast Very good had a few issues with heating and the TV but was dealt with ASAP the bedroom was nice and we had a lovely view of the sea unfortunately the main lift was out of service during our stay but they managed to find a room with a sea view on the first floor
