Happy stay

Room was fair-sized and comfortable. Nice view from the top floor where it was. Didn't rent a car, bus and train station are within a short walking distance. Warm, home like feeling, owners are very friendly. A choice of delicious, hot breakfasts, and continental available (if that's what you want). Good coffee and homemade jams.

The best thing about this property is by far the hosts. They are extremely accommodating, always happy to help and provide advice or recommendations on the local area. They also produce some fantastic food, with a daily cooked breakfast (I strongly recommend the baked eggs with chorizo) as well as all you can eat toast with an array of delicious homemade jams and preserves.

Exceptional hosts and very comfortable stay

A lovely welcome and beautiful room and spotlessly clean en-suite. Very spacious and light. The hosts were exceptional and had everything in place for a truly wonderful experience. The breakfast choices were excellent and cooked to perfection. The hotel is situated 10 mins from the beach, harbour, bus station, railway station (steam engines too) very convenient. We managed to visit Brixham and Torquay on the ‘every 10 min’ bus service.

The rooms were of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, and just enough. The host was very friendly and helpful. He had time for his guests. I particularly like that the room price rate included breakfast. Like the fact it was a lsted as a guest house and operated as a guest house.

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying at Beecroft Lodge and as before it was excellent. The hosts are very friendly and full of information about the local area. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb especially the Eggs Benedict. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beecroft Lodge. We had a lovely, bright and airy bedroom, very spacious and well decorated. We slept very well. Breakfast was excellent. The Full English Breakfast was amazing. The hosts were lovely and happy to give any help they could on local places of interest.

Beecroft lodge was very nice as a B&b very clean- Room very clean- Bed and bedding very clean and comfortable- Facilities were good - Breakfast very good - Victoria and Scott were very nice and friendly and made us most welcomed- well worth the money

We had a lovely time at the Beecroft, the hosts were very welcoming and informative on places to visit, bars and restaurants to try and lovely walks to try out! Our room was comfy with everything you could need and the breakfast was amazing, certainly kept us going on our long walks. The Beecroft is up a slight hill but only about a 5 minute stroll to the harbour and seafront and about 10 minutes to shops, bars, restaurants, train and rail station. We loved our stay here and hope to come back soon.

Lovely stay

The hotel is not far from the harbour. The room had everything you needed and Scott and Vicky made you feel very welcoming. They have done everything they can to make you feel safe. The best B&B I’ve been too for the variety choose of breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

Park your car. Perfect public transport.

Welcoming hosts. with a good English breakfast. room is comfortable. overall very good. slight Hill walk uphill home from town. Good WiFi. car park front and rear. Lots to do in the area a very good base to explore the area.
