The owner was amazing and went out of his way to let us check in a bit earlier than planned. We drove across the country and he had so much compassion for us. Good stay in a good area.... great restaurant across the parking lot too!

Parking and location were fine. Room surfaces were dirty (Floor and desk). Hot tub was out of commission. Desk didn't respond to request when they said they'd get back with me. Breakfast was ok, but had to ask for coffee both mornings we were there.

Recently stayed at the Hillside Inn and it (to me) was just a remodeled older hotel. Our air conditioner was poor, the noise from the parking lot (construction worker's staying there) was irritating at 5:30am.

Rooms weren't great, pretty sure there was mold on the ceiling above the shower, floor peeling up in the bathroom. We were only there for less than 12 hours so it was fine for a place to sleep but wouldn't recommend or go back.

This is a 2 story hotel with stairs only. When we arrived we had this reservation and asked if we could get a first floor room. Told no vacancy. The 2 of us travelling had physical issues. While not needing an "accessible" room it would have been nice if there was more clear statement No elevator. The steps were narrow and it is dangerous trying to carry a suitcase up and down. 2ndly, while the room was paid for. A 100 dollar deposit is required on arrival for any damages. This has to be paid on a credit card. 3rd, while the room was clean, the hotel is undergoing rennovation. Our door did not open with the key. Upon requesting assist the front staff came up to help open the door. We were told to put our shoulder into the door to open it, as the doorframe was recently painted and sticks. Needless to say breaking down a door with a 67+ year olds shoulder is not the best.

Perfect place to stay for our visit to the Springs! Grab and go breakfast with fresh coffee was my favorite part. The room was clean and shower was hot! I will definitely be looking at this place the next time I come to Pagosa Springs.
