We loved it, it was cozy, clean, close to Pagosa only wish the hiking trail was open… and maybe a little more light outside… other than that everything was great…! Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back with the family…

The best part of our stay was breakfast. The food was varied and delicious and the attendant was really nice. The dining area was clean. The only thing I didn't care for was check-in. There isn't a front desk/lobby, so you have to call a number and wait for the person to put you in the system. That took about 20 minutes.

Room partially clean , not dusted or swept , sheet dirty like a grease marks, no blankets it's may still cold , beds hard seriously plush should not be in description , i had to sleep on couch after 30 minutes i had such bad back pain an i DON'T HAVE A BAD VACK EVER . Only 1 hot tube other locked, shut off at 9pm . Hit water to shower took a bit to get like way over 5 minutes almost got out started to freeze before it warmed up an not hot just warm. Luckily house keeping was outside an checked room gave me a blanket ty . Only good part was hot breakfast both mornings ty

We enjoyed staying here. The bonus was that the room is renovated and clean. The breakfast in the mornings is excellent. The lodge is right next to à lake often visited by Canadian geese and ducks so they can be heard which is nice. The only negative is that it’s hard to sleep in late because we believe the building is older and you can hear everyone’s footsteps going down the wooden path and up the stairs (we were in a room next to the stairs).

Room was nice and heater worked well. Room had pull out sofa but there were no extra sheets in the room. Sent message to number given and got no response unfortunately. No staff on site so had to make do. Room was large and beds were comfy. No tv options unless you have subscriptions to sign in to through Roku.
