Evelyn, the owner of the property has given us a five star treatment, together with her family. We received a warm welcome and have enjoyed their delicious breakfast. Was greeted by wildlife in the morning while enjoying a cup of coffee. Highly recommended to couples and families! Will definitely come back with our kids next time

Such a beautiful bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Pagosa Springs; just the right amount of distance out of town for peace and quiet, but close enough for groceries and other amenities. Carolyn and Evelyn were both so kind and inviting, and breakfast every morning was phenomenal. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area, we hope to be back soon!

Such an amazing place to stay while in the Pagosa area. Dog and Horse friendly. So much property to walk around and take in incredible sites. Super cute cabins and a host/team that offers group breakfast to get to know you! This place ia a true GEM!

A wonderful, albeit short, visit. Our hosts were gracious and welcoming. We even were invited to join them, and local friends for a Sunday dinner. It was Easter, so a lot luck for holiday dishes from friends. The room was spacious and comfortable, although the bath was a bit tight. It's a perfect place for a family ,couple and a nicer setting cannot be found. Highly recommend!

Property was about 2 miles down a dirt road, but directions and signage were good and the road was in decent shape. We stayed in the Annex and were the only guests there for our two days. Breakfast was good. Owners were friendly. WiFi at the Annex was intermittent, but owners were going to work on that.

One of the most thoughtful touches was when they checked on us after we left during a snowstorm to make sure we made it home safely. That level of care and hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. We had a delightful stay at Elktrace Lodge for two nights. Our cozy cottage was perfect for my husband and me plus our two dogs, plus the location was great for skiing at Wolf Creek. Tom and Evelyn, the hosts, went above and beyond to make our stay special. They are warm and inviting, and their attention to detail made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our visit was the delicious Christmas meal they hosted for all the guests. Sharing a festive evening with them and the other guests was a heartwarming experience that added a unique and memorable touch to our holiday. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
