“Easy parking. Check-in was a breeze. Helpful and friendly staff. Dinner in the restaurant was sublime (and I have a very fussy partner so trust me on this). The room exceeded expectations and thoughtful little niceties like sweets and luxurious ample bathroom additions and slippers/bathrobes. “The hotel is nice and the fact that they have a private parking made it just perfect. Me and my boyfriend stayed one night as we came down to Southend. The price was relatively expensive as we booked last minute but the room was very very poorly. It was a Comfy king size if not wrong but felt very small, the view was from the back of the hotel so you basically could see the neighbours in the shower across so we had to keep the blinds off. “The Ferryboat Inn is an old establishment that I last visited ten years ago. It has been sympathetically refurbished keep a lot of the original features but adding a new bar in place of the old conservatory. I was very impressed with all the changes.”
