Right in the middle of town, convenient, it's what you expect of a simple hotel. Nothing fancy but it was well kept, clean, and worth what we paid and we just needed a clean room for the night

typical motel/inn level but good for cleanness, price, friendly staff, and close to mountain. Room space was a little limited, and wifi a little slow but very good for this level of facility and price.

Stayed here for 1 night during our Rainer NP visit. The room was clean and quiet, with easy check-in. Multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations nearby. And the price is the best in Packwood town. Highly recommend.

"This was a great base camp for visiting Mount Rainier National Park. The check-in staff was helpful and attentive, and the fast Wi-Fi was a big plus. It is also an easy walk or drive to local markets, restaurants, stores, and gas stations in Packwood.

This was the only room available on Labor Day so we took it! had a rough start because nobody was there to let me in/answer the 24 hour phone number, but, sounds like it is not a regular occurrence and the staff was actually really nice. I got the family studio suite and while we weren’t a full family (just us two), it seemed like something could fit four. It was spacious with a dining table and all of the kitchen equipment. The room was definitely a bit dated, but it was clean and the beds were decent. The shower was nice and hot! I wouldn’t call it fancy , but it did the job!

4/10 Poor

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The only upside was price was decent and proximity to hiking and park. Other than that the property is not well cared for. Room 10 needs updating, tv was broken, toilet seat is loose, shower doesn’t drain well. There were no washcloths upon arrival and no hand soap in bathroom. Room Needs a better cleaning and trash cans outside of rooms were all full and filled with rotting food and tons of flies.

The room was clean, bed comfortable. Staff was very kind to wait for us in the office, as I called ahead to say we would be late arrivals. We ended up being later then quoted, not until 11pm.

The room itself was clean and it looked like the bathroom had been recently renovated. However at 8:30am, well before the check-out time, one of the staff unlocked the door while we were still inside. It made us extremely uncomfortable and staff did not even apologize for barging in on us

No amenities as in no continental breakfast, not even a free apple or banana. A/C for air flow was so so :/ People/Staff were AWESOME :) :) It was ok for an older/smaller room.

They were installing new TVs which would have been great if only ours worked. To be fair, the staff worked tirelessly to get the new TV working and, when it couldn't be done, they replaced it and even logged us into a staff member's streaming service so we could watch what we wanted. Can't fault the staff - just the TV 😏
