We didn't stay long, as it was an overnight stay on a longer trip. But they were friendly, the room was perfect, and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Rooms are very small outside near smoking area etc not the best location if folk are having a chat. Nice pub with Thai food, breakfast is a pot of instant porridge and fruit. OK for a night but wouldn’t want to stay longer.
We found our stay enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a bit of banter in the pub with the locals we will definitely use this place again great value for money

Perfect for a quick cycling or walking break.
A very enjoyable stay. Room was basic but clean. We were given a very warm welcome by Jason who showed us to our room. The Thai restaurant which is located at the Pub/Hotel served an absolutely delicious 5* meal and is a must if you’re planning on staying here. The location is perfect for a hiking or cycling getaway break.
Jason and the staff were lovely. Everything from check in, food, room and complimentary breakfast snacks was brilliant. Perfect for an overnight stay.
Thank you for having us.
A comfortable nights sleep topped only by such amazing cuisine, the food was out of this world! Even the locals were coming in for takeout! Highly recommended!
We picked this pub at random. What a good choice! Staff were excellent, rooms was good as was the food. The customers in the pub - and it was packed - were great fun and friendly. Will go there again
Really lovely pub with good food and friendly owners/staff. Was a bit noisy early in evening but very quiet by bedtime. Perfect for a night and our plans and not far from the park and ride (parking charges in Oxford are very high - £15 for 2 hours not unusual)
Clean fresh en-suite twin room with everything you could need. Excellent friendly host and superb beer served in the bar. Hot food was not available for breakfast but a small complementary cold breakfast was provided in the room. Recommended.
Very tired and run down property, all a bit rough really although bar staff were very helpful

Traditional British Pup but fare to expensive for
Unfortunately not the place you like to stay for this price. The people are very friendly and open. There is a small restaurant and food is good. But the room was not clean. No light in the bathroom. Only to recommend when you want a secret meeting there, because the rooms are outside and direct from car part to access. And no breakfast or someone to leave the room keys.
This is a must stay for the true local experience near Oxford.
Very nice people the owner Jason is one of the true inn keepers you’ve seen in movies and the entire staff will go above and beyond to help in any way.
We were there just one night as a side trip and it has been the highlight of the trip.
Pub is great with lots of locals, the rooms are not 5 star but are clean and comfortable with everything you really need, my teen son said this room is “cool”.
I will definitely keep on my list for a return.
Jason and Louie are the best Cheers!

The Queen’s Head Inn is so friendly, so clean. It’s simple, sure, but the village is charming and warm. We heard the manor house across from us was haunted by a Grey Lady. Didn’t get to see her, but we did get an extensive tour from the church keeper John and more discussion with the church warden whose name we forgot. Amazing Thai food. We had all of Oxford available to us, and we chose to drive back to eat in Horspath. Jason, the innkeeper, is the best. We will be back when we have work at the Uni. This is the best place to stay when you want to visit Oxford but don’t want to deal with Oxford.
Bit off beaten track nothing but small village around, attached to the pub serving thai food and small british food selection, which was very tasty. Good for quiet country walk iafter.
Small outside bed room, very hot inside on the sunny day I was there, would be unbearable without tall standing fan provided.
Noise from inside pub seemed amplified and loud as right next to one of entrance doors but it ended at 11pm.
Fruit and pastry provided for breakfast next day and beds comfy.
Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Parking - small amount and limited when pub open but can park on road outside.
Would stay here again as good value and not far from Oxford, waterperry gardens and M40.
