Food was fabulous staff excellent. Breakfast great absolutely amazing food.
Really welcoming and friendly staff. Room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Had evening meal in the pub and even though they had two large groups in for Christmas meals they looked after us really well. Staff are the standout but the place overall was great

Very clean, smallish room, comfortable bed. Climate control and window options appreciated. Nice restaurant and bar. Attractive patio for drinks out back. Nice atmosphere, friendly service and very good breakfast
Lovely place to stay very clean room as well presented had all the immunities the place itself is very nice staff very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Couldn’t fault it in any way
The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful and artfully presented (both breakfast and dinner in the dining room). We thought our accommodations were very nice.
A lovely place to stay in Oxford. Easy to get into town, and a nice neighbourhood around the pub (pictured, and easy walking distance to the famous shark house!). Good food and numerous choices. Room was clean and comfortable
This is a lovely thoughtfully styled hotel. The staff are all genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Decent water pressure in the shower. Generous supply of tea/coffee in room. Variety of tasty options on the dinner menu. The Full English Breakfast is a must have. Good central location for sightseeing. Would highly recommend and definitely would return.
Super friendly host; made the whole stay so pleasurable and relaxing! Thanks!

Nice place deep in Oxford neighbourhood. Not much around to walk to. Food was good and parking easy. Recommend if you have business in neighborhood. 1 to 1.4 hrs to LHR
The Black Boy was a lovely stay in an original pub. The staff were lovely, as well as helpful, the pub was a short walk from shops and cafes. And the staff graciously called us a taxi into Oxford. We stayed here for a wedding in Oxford and it was the perfect stay.
The room was very clean, well stocked with tea and coffee, and the local soaps were nice in the clean and modern bathroom.
Breakfast in the morning was great, too, with a proper full English breakfast.
They were so kind to us opening breakfast early so we could get to LHR at a time they also helped us determine. The room was great, I would recommend this to anyone. Oxford is a bit of a mess right now with all the road work so staying on the outskirts was a benefit.
Handy location for John Radcliffe Hospital. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Let me work in the bar whilst I was waiting for my partner to have his procedure. Thank you
