The hotel was smack in the middle of town, a few blocks from the bus station, where we arrived from Heathrow. Lots of stores and places to eat very close. The staff was very available for questions, even before our arrival, and immediately helpful. The hotel itself was very "old school" and charming. It had a lot of old world character. Our room had a great balcony to look out over the roofs and spires of Oxford. So picturesque. We had a lovely stay.

Very central in Oxford. Area not great. Hotel apartments are clean and tidy but very small, well appointed. Staff friendly and efficient. Excellent shower. hotel has no restaurant, bar, sitting room, gym or other facilities beyond the room Room was missing many small essentials appropriate for this class and price level hotel eg, no fridge, no coffee maker, no conditioner in shower, no bathroom vanity kit, no wine glasses or nice drinks tumblers, and for a hotel without any restaurant or bar, no snacks or minbar items available at reception. These things are all easily fixed cheaply, and should be. Staff do not greet guests when they walk past reception - noted multiple times.
