“The room was great and facilities clean and well-maintained. This was our final stop along the Hadrian’s Wall Path and a welcome upgrade from campsites along the way. Good value for money and a lively restaurant nearby.”

“No evening meal due to chef needing time off, staff seemed to have no idea what was happening. Only food available in the area was pizza at a hostel across the road. Breakfast room opened at 8:30 and consisted of help yourself Coco pops, croissants or toast, if you had an early start, nothing. Overall a very poor experience.”

“Staying here was amazing. The room was just what I needed for my one night stay in Durham. The bus stop wasn’t far away and was very easy to get into the city center. I arrived a little bit early and they didn’t even flinch to get me into my room. Highly recommend!”

“The Hotel and room were clean and comfortable and the owner very willing to please. The location is well situated with easy acess to the town centre shops and seafront. Traffic noise is minimal and presents no problems with sleeping. The morning breakfast offers a large and varied selection with something available for all tastes, The full English breakfast is highly recommended to set you up for the day. As a suggestion a tea towel and small sponge would be an advantage upon the sink in order...
