“This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.”

“very nice 2 night stay. Nice welcome and hotel very clean. some items in room a little worn and tited around the edges but didn't detract from our stay. Would have liked some healthier choices at breakfast. semi skimmed milk, better quality bread etc. Asked for boiled eggs but not available.”

“Lovely stay, clean, modern decor but cosy. Parking was good, owner and staff were all lovely and accommodating. Good choice for breakfast, including healthy options. Great shower and comfy king size bed. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.”

“Hotel is nice and close to the town, and very clean. Parking was easy and ample. Everyone that works there are really friendly. The room was just the right size (with the usual amenities) with a decent ensuite bathroom. A good selection of breakfast items - the English breakfast is lovely.”
