Vacations Close To Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education

Room 211 was riddled with issues. I only stayed 1 night fortunately. The shower door was on a track and wouldn't stay closed so I had to place a bottle of bodywash to keep it shut. By morning I figured out the coffee marker couldn't be plugged in so I moved it to the desk. Finally, the bathroom faucet leaked all over the counter. I informed the desk clerk at checkout. She said thanks for letting her know but didn't offer an adjustment for the inconvenience. I will never waste miney there again.

I've stayed there one time before this trip I loved it it was the same this time I will definitely stay there again

It's was my second time there, I didn't like they moved the breakfast from the second floor where we can see the ocean and the room was bigger to a small first floor room with no view at all. Other then that the it's all good.

They should have more than one person at check in to help with the lines

Dirty, towels were used, broken things. not recommended.

I To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to formally follow up with Corporate regarding my family’s recent stay at your Virginia Beach property. Our original reservation was from August 8 through August 12, 2026, in Room 313, at a cost of more than $2,100. Despite the significant concerns we experienced, my husband and I ultimately granted our children’s wish to extend our vacation for an additional day through August 13 because they genuinely enjoy the hotel’s pool amenities, the beach, and the convenient location near the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. I want to make it clear that our decision to extend our stay does not diminish the seriousness of the problems we experienced. In fact, we chose to remain because there are aspects of this property that our family truly enjoys. This was our second visit, and the pools, location, and surrounding Virginia Beach area are exactly what brought us back. Unfortunately, the condition of our room and several service and safety concerns significantly affected what should have been an enjoyable family vacation. The most disturbing incident occurred when a large water bug fell onto my pillow while I was sleeping. I initially believed that a mouse had fallen onto the bed. My 11-year-old child woke up and witnessed me attempting to kill the bug with my shoe. This was extremely upsetting and left us uncomfortable sleeping in the room.
