The staff, the food, the atmosphere are all great. Very clean. This was our second time staying there. We haven’t really used the other amenities such as the pool yet but hope to on another visit.

Come over and relax

Perfect place for a taste of Minas Gerais. I write this in English because Brasilians already know of the splendor of this establishment. You will not find a more comfortable, rustic, beautiful hotel in this region. The breakfast with most of the food cooked on the wood stove makes things even more special.

Our stay at this Hotel was excellent. The entire staff, from the front desk, the restaurant & bar staff, to the maintenance people, were all very helpful and friendly. We had some special requests due to our health issues, and the staff were accommodating and provided solutions readily. The hotel itself is beautiful and preserves the colonial style. It is well located near the central district and next to local shops. The Hotel Bar is stunning and a particularly a fun spot to hang out.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and well in theme with the surroundings, old colonial charm, that being said some of the fixtures and the flooring tiles could be updated. I highly recommend it. The restaurant was also great we had breakfast and dinner there the food and the service was excellent.We extended our stay by one night as we loved the hotel that much.

Nice hotel with a subpar restaurant

The hotel was very nice, but the restaurant food left a lot to be desired. We had the duck confit and it was dry and the accompanying rice was undercooked. We also had two pastas with red and white sauce and pieces of beef but they were only average. The green salad was very good though. The breakfast was limited compared to other restaurants I'd been to recently. Although it was nice to have eggs prepared individually, the choice of meats to go with the eggs were very limited. There were no potatoes nor vegetables. There was no yoghurt drink.

Localização do hotel é excelente. Acomodações da suíte pra cima, valem a pena (standard e ouro bem básicos e pequenos, mas depende do propósito da viagem. Vale mais a pequena pagar um pouco mais e ficar na suite executiva). O diferencial e os pontos altos do hotel são, sem dúvidas, ter estacionamento incluso e a área de lazer e o café da manhã, que são ótimos. O café da manhã é variado e o ambiente do restaurante, que conta com decoração de muito bom gosto e clima aconchegante, com boa música ambiente. Os pratos do restaurante são bons, porém um pouco salgados no tempero, tem como melhorar. Agora, o ponto que exige mais atenção e impacta negativamente a experiência é o atendimento engessado na recepção, com exceção do gerente Alexandre, que foi o único que foi atencioso. Excesso de regras engessam o atendimento, não foi acolhedor. Viemos fazer uma cotação e querer conhecer o hotel um dia antes, porém senti que os olhares eram de desdém, talvez pela roupa casual no momento, pois estávamos caminhando. Portanto, o acolhimento e a famosa "hospitalidade mineira", que sentimos em outras pousadas e hotéis que passamos antes, deixou a desejar nesse sentido. Pedimos um late Check out às 13hrs, somente para podermos almoçar, e não foi concedido, e senti uma má vontade em tentar conseguir. Achamos o desembarque para quem vem de carro, um pouco ineficiente, gerando certo transtorno para manobra do carro para quem não conhece a área. Por falta de espaço, não pude descrever mais pontos.
