Front desk staff were super helpful with checking in, loved the hot springs tub and vapor caves, beautiful setting, rooms were adequate although a bit dated and outside of the River lodge building was a bit rough looking with some peeling paint. Overall would recommend for the setting, hot springs and the food onsite from the Mineshaft.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, but adding a proper safety rail to the top bunk would make it much safer for families with children. The spacious shower was a wonderful bonus and something we really appreciated.

Room was very clean and renovated. Location is perfect, 7 minutes walking from Box Canon and 15 from hot springs pool. The view is so so beautiful. I was worried about the restaurant after I read the reviews but it's not right the pizza and burgers very tasty and the breakfast is so good and there's alot of variety it was very delicious.

This facility was really nice overall. The pool area was amazing. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were a little dated, but served us well. The area that could use some attention was in the upkeep. The laundry machines were in disrepair, with less than half of them being operational. One of the two a/c units in our room did not work, and the shower dribbled steadily even when turned all the way off.

There are two reasons why I stay at Twin Peaks Lodge and Hot Springs in Ouray: hot pools and breakfast. The grounds are beautiful, and you can't beat the setting, but there was also trash around. There is a great breakfast buffet in the mornings, and employees working the buffet were friendly. However, my room was terrible and tacky: tiny, dark, outdated, peeling wallpaper, broken lampshade, furniture literally falling apart, upholstery stains. The only hook to hang anything in the bathroom area had been ripped out and not replaced. The TV cord hung loose down the wall next to the bed, plugged into an extension cord fed from underneath the baseboard (trip hazard). For what I spent, the room should have been much better maintained.

Lovely setting and the room was excellent. The check in is with a kiosk, not a favorite of any traveler. The breakfast offers a lot of choices and the coffee is good. What you don't anticipate is all the taxes local/state/resort fees that will add about $80 to your room per day.

Walls are thin, neighbor to us was blasting what seemed like Metallica until 11:30 pm. I asked the front desk to help with noise control at 10:30. Made for a very long road trip the next day. In the shower both soaps were labeled body soap. I’m assuming one was shampoo? We did enjoy the hot spring pool. Overall, Price was too high compared to value.
