A pleasant oasis in central Finland

This place has been around in one form or another for many years, and the experience of the staff shines through. A welcoming afternoon tea and a sumtuous breakfast were just two of the standouts. The beds were excellent and the facilities all in good working order. Would happily stay there again if visiting the region.

I was in the main building just off the breakfast area / restaurant. The included breakfast buffett was good and hearty. I happened to be in Oulu when it was warm and the in room air conditioner that you needed to exhaust to the outside manually was one item that some may not care for, but I had not problem with. The place had charm and the staff was really awesome

Clean, nice staff, convenient access from the airport and the city center. And free of charge gym that you can exercise. Air conditioner is about trick to use and ventilation cannot be stopped and it makes sounds.

Schönes kleines Hotel… mit schön renovierten Zimmern. Personal super hilfsbereit. Ein Minuspunkt: das Restaurant wurde nicht betrieben, da der Koch im Urlaub war. Ab heute unseren Abreisetag war es wieder in Betrieb. Schade. Frühstück war gut.

Minus var: att restaurangen varken serverade lunch eller middag. Vi har klagat hos Hotels eftersom det var angivet i hotellbeskrivningen. De talade om delvis återbetalning, men än har inget hänt😒 Enkel frukost och aircon med slang som var för kort för att nå ut ur fönstret. Plus var: Trevlig och hjälpsam personal Vi fick låna cyklar gratis😀

Vanhan rakennukset tarina ja tunnelma puuttui

Huoneemme oli uudisrakennuksessa. Huone oli siisti, mutta se oli väärin mitoitettu. Sänky oli nurkassa, mikä on parisängylle hankala, mutta huoneen mitoituksen takia muuta vaihtoehtoa ei ollut. Huone oli pimeä, koska verhot piti pitää edessä vieressä olevan kerrostalon takia. Hotelli oli pettymys, koska uudisrakennuksessa ei ole mitään vanhan rakennuksen tunnelmasta.

Gammalt hus i fint skick

Vänlig personal, mysigt med ett gammalt hus i orginalskick, små rum av förklariga skäl. Tyvärr var restaurangen stängd pga att kockarna hade semester. Enkel men god frukost.

Kaunis vanha talo ja hyvä aamupala.

Tosi kiva hotelli ja erinomaiset liikuntamahdollisuudet lähellä. Hiukan laukun kanssa joutui edestakas puljaamaan mm rappusia kun huone oli eri talossa kuin respa. Ei iso ongelma, jos ei ole liikuntarajoitteita. Huoneen ikkuna suoraan parkkipaikalle ei paras metelin takia, mutta korvatulpat auttaa. Muut huoneet ehkä hiljaisempia, kannattanee pyytää sellaista ensi kerralla. Aamupala oli hyvä ja lähes riittävä valikoima, ehkä vain jotain kasviproteiiniä voisi lisätä vielä. Lounaan kasvisruoka oli erinomaista.
