What I loved was that the receptionist was super friendly since the start and everything was clean and peaceful. The cherry to the top was they let me have my dog with me and I loved that so much.
It was an okay stay. Overall very pet friendly. Pool was underwhelming staff is very friendly The only thing about breakfast my family had said that there were no eggs or bacon out there

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Good stop off point on way to Chicago, gas station and fast food in 2 minute walking distance, Peru is a 7 minute drive (Mario's restaurant highly recommend), parking easy at hotel (and restaurant).
Staff were helpful, had to move rooms as hadn't been cleaned fully, but done with minimum fuss.
No Smart TV but room was very comfortable and pool was nice for a little dip, breakfast standard motel fare but decent.
This hotel is very much you get what you pay for. We got a cheap but safe place to stay for two nights, so we're happy with that. They did have hot breakfast even if it ran out quickly. The cleaning staff was not very thorough, and didn't report that it smelled like smoke, and we found a cigarette butt behind our dresser.

My biggest issue was the door closures/locks. You HAVE to slam it to close the door, this made for a lot of noise throughout the night. Second the walls are thin. I question the cleanliness of the room as well, in particular the shower walls. The room was comfortable and they are remodeling so hopefully things will improve.
We have stayed at this location multiple times over the past 3 years. I have to say that this stay could be our last. The elevator stunk. There was a part roll of toilet paper in our room. When I enquired about getting another roll I was told I would have to wait for housekeeping to come in because the front desk staff didn’t have access to it. Breakfast was the worst i have seen at this location. There were no tea bags and when I asked I was told they didn’t have any!?!? How do you run out of tea bags? The selection of food was far less than in the past as evident from the empty spaces.
Excellent location when traveling from Madison, WI to Georgia. Very nice young desk clerk. Very comfortable bed. Nice to have an indoor pool. Serve yourself breakfast.
Room smelled of smoke. Linens were of inferior quality. They never serviced the room in 5 days. The provided too few towels. Hot breakfast was a joke. Coffee was instant. Pool had a scummy sheen on it. Key cards kept failing. Elevator worked well.
The room was amazing! The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel. Including the pillows. Breakfast wasn’t that great and the pool how’s it going? Love you have a good night wasn’t heated
Met family from out of town. Great clean pool, nice size, plenty of clean towels. Nice rooms, great friendly staff, very clean. Plenty of breakfast options.
