It was our first time to Ottawa, so we had a lot of questions for the front desk staff, and they were so helpful and nice, giving good guidance on sight seeing, eateries. It is so well equipped and senior citizens user friendly too. In the downtown, heart of the city, every sight seeing spot is walking distance, safe neighborhood too. Wonderful experience.

It was a nice change from the hotels. The Inn gave us a more comfortable room with a large balcony with perks like milk and coffee creamers in the fridge. A kitchenette with butter in the fridge. We didn't use this but will definitely remember for our next trip to the downtown. Another perk was how close we were to the market.

Property was great and particularly liked the patio and garden out back. Only concern with our room was that although it was supplied with a kitchenette (coffee maker, dishes, and counter space, there was no sink other than the bathroom whereas our travelling companions in another room had a sink. Did like having a balcony with table and chairs.

Great location. Clean and well kept. Breakfast buffet was OK, scrambled eggs, potatoes and a meat (bacon, sausage or peameal bacon) that rotated out daily, also some fruit and yogurt. Nothing spectacular but it was something to get you on your way. Quiet and easy to walk around Byward.
