I had the worst stay at this property. Loud noises within the building very early in the morning. Plus the washrooms were smelly. No support from the staff whatsoever

I did not realize the ‘property’ was made up of atleast 2 houses (with units in each) and that No Breakfast was included. TV volume did not work. Staff was helpful. Only 1 towel and no bathroom mirror. Did enjoy walkout ‘balcony’ smoking area

Very economical stay. I see some not great reviews so wondered what I was signing up for staying here but was pleasantly surprised. We had the double room with private bathroom. Was clean and tidy. Had an air conditioner and the beds were comfortable. Had to check in at one house, park at another and stay at a third but not a big deal. All within close distance. House was quiet and we felt safe there. Would stay again.

We had this booked a week in advanced, and had driven up to Ottawa from Toronto on the day of our reservation. They called us two hours before our check-in time saying they had cancelled our reservation, and had no way to renew it, or offer us a room. They said they would call us back which they never did. We ended up having to book another hotel last minute. We’re disappointed by the experience, they seem to be unreliable with holding reservations.

The price is right. But there is no prize. No face cloths, only one towel, no where to hang up towels in bathroom, no hangers in room for coats. No coffee available in rooms or anywhere. Parking is free but again a huge joke. Three guest park behind each other in a single driveway. We had to wait almost a hour for the car behind us to be removed so we could get out of the driveway. My advice is to pay extra for more comforts. Don’t go to this place.

The room was dirty, it was not even dusted. No place to hang your cloths. curtains were so dirty, I did not feel touching them. They had said there is parking, but we had to park back to back with others and once we had to wait for a long time to be able to take the car out. Also it was said that there is air conditioning, while there was none. I will never go to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. Not even sure if this legally can be a hotel!

This property is the worst that I have ever stayed at. I selected it because it is conveniently close to the Library and Archives of Canada and it was inexpensive. It looked basic, but clean, but the pictures were deceptive. It was like a prison cell. There was less than a foot between the end of the bed and the wall. Walls are paper-thin and I could clearly hear upstairs residents and upstairs plumbing. There was 1 towel provided-no hand towel and no bath mat/towel. No hair dryer. No breakfast although several websites, as well as their ad on the front of the house, say that they provide. The hall was dimly lit and the floor uneven due to structural issues, which could be a fall risk. I guess one gets what one pays for, but I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend this to anyone I care about.

Unser Gastgeber wollte uns erst ein Zimmer in der oberen Etage geben, mit Gemeinschaftsbadezimmer, der Anblick von dem offenen Toilettendeckel hätte gereicht um auszuschlecken. Wir haben dann doch ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit eigenem Badezimmer erhalten. Die Dusche muss man mit Vorsicht benutzen, die Rohre liegen frei, der Wasserhahn ist locker. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, Das Bett ist für zwei Personen zu schmal und steht genau in der Ecke. Hier muss man über seinen Partner steigen, wenn man raus möchte. Mitten in der Nacht wurde im Haus herumgetrampelt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist viel zu teuer. Wären wir mit Auto unterwegs, hätten wir das Zimmer nicht genommen.

This is not your typical B&B. It is fairly clean, and the lady showing me my room was friendly. I got my room early, so I was happy about that. The room was very plain and there are few amenities. The bed was comfortable. It was super cheap to stay there, so I got what I expected. It was fine for a night.
