Very beautiful lake scenery from a room. Very close to the lake side being able to see amazing sunrise view, which is one of my favourites. Room and facilities are excellent and staff is really professional and kind. A bit far away from sightseeing places, though.

Great views of the lake. We even got to see multiple fireworks shows on the lake during our stay. It was a super convenient location for us to explore Kyoto, Uji and Lake Biwa. To clarify, we had a car. My only complaints would be, I wish the rooms were a bit bigger and the AC a bit stronger.

The staff provided amazing service, and the lake view was stunning. The room was spacious with enough room to open at least three large suitcases. The bed was comfy, with good amenities; I must mention the high quality hairdryer. Although the bathroom is a bit old, it is still very clean and equipped with everything you need.

The room was clean and quite large, much larger than the typical Japanese hotel room. We were on a high floor, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast buffet is fine but not that extensive. For us, the highlight was the front desk staff, which made several calls for us to work out an unexpected difficulty (we don't speak Japanese). They were absolutely fantastic. We can't thank them enough.

6/10 Okay

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
A very traditional Japanese hotel. The hotel room smells badly, in particular the carpet. Great view and convenient location.
