Everything was exceptional. Did not use the communal spa because we had a private spa in the room with a beautiful view of the lake. Hotel had a shuttle to the train station.

그냥 구글 맵에서 콕 찍어서 갔던 소도시 호텔인데, 온천수가 대박이었음. 뜨겁지도 차갑지도 않으면서 온천수 특유의 미끌미끌함과 맑은 물인데, 잠깐만 들어가 앉았다 나와도 피부가 매끈해지는 최고의 온천수임. 주변 풍광도 호수와 어우러져 너무나 멋짐. 조용하게 하루종일 뒹굴거리다 오기에 딱 좋은 호텔입니다. 식사도 좋았어요.

Poor experience in Biwako Grand Hotel

The overall experience in this hotel is average. What you have paid is not what you can get. The lobby of the hotel is old style and the staff there cannot speak English. Do prepared to learn some Japanese before you decide to live in this hotel. Also, the hotel's ceiling height is not high, which is under our expectation, and each floor do not have enough lightings, the corridors are sort of dark. The only bright floor I guess is the lobby level. For dinner: The dining experience is obviously not up to the standard to what you have paid for the hotel fees. The high price of the hotel made me expect that the dinner would be excellent, but in reality it is not the case. The freshness of the sashimi is even worse than the sashimi that I can eat at some good restaurants in kyoto urban areas. Also, even they are empty seats nearby the windows with lake views, they do not allow us to eat at that table. Instead, they arrange us to a table which is next to the corridor. For breakfast: The breakfast that included in the hotel price is so so. The food quality of the buffet is the food that you can find in supermarkets. Don't expect too much from this hotel. The only thing that appreciate is the shuttle bus service between the おごと温泉駅 and the hotel. Actually, without the shuttle bus service, we definitely would not choose this hotel as this hotel is far from the train station and have at least 20-25 mins walk from the train station.

露天風呂付き客室に満足

一つの階に部屋が5つぐらいしかないので静かで部屋も広く部屋にある露天風呂に満足出来ました。また、施設には2つの浴場がありこれにも満足しました。食事も値段の割りには良いと思います。
