The room had so much space and everything we needed for our trip! (Fridge, stove, kitchen utensils, etc) The manager or owner Harry is awesome! We locked our key in our room around 8pm and he was there to help within 5 minutes! The location is right on the beach, short walk to rattlesnake canyon, and quick drive to shoppers, save-on foods, and multiple places to eat made! I loved it, and my teenagers loved it. We already booked for next summer!

The location is great and straight access to the lake by the swimming zone. The room was clean but extremely dated. The door could only be shut with a slam. The bed and pillows were tired. Lots of families having fun times, but lots of kids toys, floaties and plastic beach toys strewn about. i didn’t mind the kids as they go to bed relatively early and don’t make noise at night time. Good to see families having quality time. Overall, it needs some TLC. Also the checkin person couldn’t find my Expedia reservation even though I was sent a confirmation. They had some rooms left so I was OK.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the beach. Close to dining and shopping. It is great that the hotel has a pool. The hotel/room is older the bed was very uncomfortable. It is a good place for the price.

Based on the negative reviews I was nervous staying here but was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again. The owners were polite and friendly. A/C worked really well! Didn’t use the outdoor pool but it looked clean and well maintained. The jacuzzi was great! (Just wish it was open later than 10pm). Excellent lake front location, easy walk to the “city centre”, cafes, pubs. We had a queen size room - it was spacious and clean enough. The property is definitely outdated and the mattress was on the hard side so next time I would bring a mattress topper or a thick duvet but the price and location makes it worth it. We ended up bringing our own bedding (just in case:) and it was a good call as the pillows were small and soft, sheet was sliding off the mattress and the duvet has seen some miles. Little bar fridge worked well and was quiet. Good water pressure in the bathroom. With a little bit of extra preparation and not overly high expectations this is a great little local motel.

Property has an amazing location with 2 pools that are well maintained. It is steps from the lake what more can you ask for. Our room was clean. Aside from what everyone said the owner who works behind the desk is a very nice man. He is older and you can tell has worked his whole life, just isn’t super chatty or super friendly. But once you get talking to him he is very kind and polite. The beds are very very hard. If you like a hard bed this would be your dream hotel. I brought my own pillows which I would suggest at most hotels since motels generally have junk pillows. If your looking for a budget friendly place to rest your head then I’d recommend the Spanish fiesta, if you prefer nicer accommodations I’d suggest booking somewhere more expensive

Loved the beach access and the clean pool, hated everything else! This hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed at. Room was full of cobwebs and spiders. I woke up every morning with spiders crawling on me in the bed, multiple spiders. The sheets didn’t fit the bed, two flat sheets and not fitted sheet on the mattress. The mattress and box spring were original to the hotel from the 1970’s. The toilet leaked all over the floor. It was clear that the room had not been used or cleaned in a very long time. The owner gave us a bag of rags to clean up the toilet water. We had to ask for remotes for the tv, those were missing upon our arrival. You’d also be wise to remove all valuables from the room, every time you leave. No joke.

Omg this was such a wonderful vacation. It was so welcoming, there was even a family of spiders (including cousins, twice removed aunts, Uncle Jorge, etc)! It’s like the little guys knew I was missing my own pet so they filled in! The shower itself was so amazing. I really loved how the water temperature was like its own strobe light! On-off on-off! It made showering super fun and interesting. The coat of green mold in the bathroom was such a nice touch. If only they had the glowing kind of radioactive mold, it would’ve added to the experience! They did have mold though so that’s at least a nice decoration. Oh! I can’t forget about the anti-slip flowers in the bottom of the tub! The resort decided they look better ripped off with the exposed tub underneath! We loved the design choice! So unique! We loved the way the bed didn’t have sheets so we could add our own style! It was so thoughtful of the resort. It was extra special that the TV in the room my friends were staying in wouldn’t turn on or work, so we had an excuse to have a movie night together! We ended up playing cards instead because we got a whole 22 channels and 19 of them were American news, which is amazing and SO informative, but cards were just so much more fun! It really was a blast! I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who’s looking for something cheap and will keep you entertained for every minute you’re there!* *up to 8 minutes at a time, the rest is up to you.

You pay for proximity to the beach-Had to ring a bell and wait to check in and person checking in didn’t operate as it is a business/it didn’t seem tourist friendly/not welcoming. The heated pool and hot tub were closed but the pool next door at Falcon was available and nice and we had to ring back to the office to find out where it was. No coffee/toiletries. At least the bed/sheets were clean and it was quiet.

No wi fi, no coffee either in the room or the lobby, a lot of work to be done to bring it to any sort of stay again standard. Lots of money for very poor accommodation. Hard to locate lobby staff, there really is no lobby anyway. We were told they were new owners and working on improvements...OK, until that's done lower the price and disclose what is not available to guests. Bath water was yellow, no hot water, only warm and just for good measure, no bathtub plug. T.V..only worked sporadically with picture and sound issues. Stayed 2 nights to our regret and got no cleaning service at all after the first night....no beds made, no trash emptied, no floor sweep, Nada. Was told it was up to me to advise if housekeeping needed. Enough said

The room was like a tomb. Old, depressing, missing so many typical items. The front desk person was rude several times. Took them 45 min to come help with the TV. For $220, it's obvious these people do NOT invest in their rooms, just take the money and run. Make their exhausted family members run the place. Terrible.

This hotel should not be allowed to take people's moneyand should be closed down. Besides being absolutely filthy, the staff could not find my Expedia reservation upon check in and actually tried to blame ME for booking at their property, "People just keep booking and booking online but we have no rooms left". The pool was green and slimy and not fit to swim in, hot tub wasn't working, the room full of cobwebs and spiders, the last occupants food crumbs were all over the floor, mouse droppings on the stove, bathrooms sink covered in hair and filthy, TV didn't work. I asked for our room to be cleaned again but no one ever came. We were supposed to be there for 4 nights but we left after 2. No refund given. Expedia needs to stop representing this property!
