Our room was nice and clean, recently renovated. The staff were friendly. For a light sleeper the room is a little noisy. There is a pub near by and the food was good. There is not much else around to see other than the water and beach. We enjoyed our overnight stay.

Two nights in the fall

This would be a good place for a summer holiday on a beach for a young family. We were using it as an early fall two day for a celebration of life event so didn't take advantage of the lake or relaxation offered. There are 5 natural gas barbecues that are veru useful so we had a family cook out on the first night on the picnic tables provided (as seen in the picture). Even though fall-ish it was still quite warm so the air conditioners worked overtime. They are not quiet and seem to come on at the weirdest times. Basically full blast - then off - then full blast.

Our stay was great, being right on the lake was perfect. Room was comfortable, clean and roomy. The only downfall was that we had a room above us, and when they walked around, you could hear everything which is not good when you don’t sleep very soundly and the people above you get up at 6 o’clock in the morning
