One of the best hotels! The bed and sheets were so cozy and the shower was fantastic. Location is within walking distance to so many things. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had, and lunch and dinner portions were huge and delicious! We loved this hotel.

The hotel is lovely, clean and we have no fault with our room. The room had the usual safe, well stocked fridge and a welcome hairdryer. Breakfast was in a beautiful room with stunning chandeliers, plenty of hot and continental options. Nora, who was friendly and helpful, on booking in, gave us a choice of overlooking street or courtyard. We chose street, being assured the noise from bars wouldn’t disturb us too much as were 5 floors up. However, London Pub remained boisterous well in to the early hours every night of our 4 night stay.

Breakfast was amazing, everything was fresh and well prepared, perfect beginning of the day. We all used the spa on the last day and we were all upset that we didn’t use it every day! It’s really worth it, refreshes and relaxes you after the full day of exploring the city and around it. Couple of things to improve though. Our son’s room was next to the elevator and it’s pretty loud every time it stops on the floor. He didn’t tell us until we were leaving so we couldn’t ask for a change, but stay further away from the elevator. Also the bathroom in our room (supposedly a better one with the balcony) was tiny and not very comfortable.

Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Helpful in accommodating our luggage transfer to Bergen. Waiter and his assistant/ bartender in lobby cafe very rude. Had dinner there night of World Cup finals but early enough it wasn’t busy yet. Waiter took care of others who arrived 5-10 min after us but whom he obviously knew. Then very nasty when taking drink orders- and then after mistakes w cocktails, we said we would take a beer instead. Without even asking what type of beer, he just brought us beer of his choice. Only bad experience we had during our week in Norway.

Couples weekend leisure break in Oslo. The Hotel Bristol location is great (walking distance from central station), a short walk from Main Street and the hotel is faultless. Lovely room, comfy bed, nice bathroom & shower. Lovely breakfast, luxury surroundings. One downside is no ‘international’ TV other than MTV & Nicelodian.

We could not recommend this hotel enough - the whole design is stunning! The attention to detail is beautiful! The staff are so welcoming and have a lot of time and knowledge to give which was lovely - the food really was the best breakfast in Oslo! The room was wonderful very clean and full of amenities! This hotel is just a few minutes walk to the train station and several other transportation lines. You can easily walk to the Parliament and the Royal Palace and so many other wonderful sites. The lobby is really pretty, with lots of little cozy spaces to hang out. The breakfast provided is outstanding! It is a full spread with so many different options for people who are vegetarians or gluten-free. We had a room with twin beds and the beds are pushed together. The rest of the room was spacious with two chairs, small table and a desk. The bathroom is tiny. There is a very small shower with collapsible doors that can take a while to configure. Either way you're going to get water all over the floor when you take a shower. There are three restaurants on site but only one of them was operational when we visited, which was kind of a bummer. We would have really enjoyed having the option to have dinner in the more casual bistro after a long day of sightseeing. We were there five nights and didn't hear noises from the rooms around us, save for one night when we heard some someone walking around above us. Overall a very quiet Hotel. Outside noise was a bit different, though. We were there in July so we wanted the window open to let in fresh air (there is no air conditioning.) We could often hear music outside and sometimes people talking extremely loudly in the middle of the night. If we were to get the same great package rate and go back to oslo, we would definitely stay here again
