For 3 adult in a family room, the room is still quite comfortable. The staffs at the front reception and the restuarant are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast spreadout is one of the best during my 11 days holiday as the food are kept warm using overhead heater and the sunnyside eggs are always cooked fresh. The hotel is also near to the shopping belt and Central station is just 5 mins away. Will definitely come back to stay at this hotel if I come back to Oslo.

My room was very small but very well appointed. There was nothing lacking and I truly was impressed with how well everything fit into such a small space. Ikea would be proud! The location was ideally situated downtown within walking distance of most activities, and close to bus/light rail stops and train station. However, the highlight of my stay was the daily breakfast buffet! Man alive... the selection and quality made both my mornings amazing. Even the dining room and staff were top notch. I started my 2 week Norway trip at this hotel and I missed it the rest of my vacation. Thank you Thon Astoria!

Breakfast options are stellar. Very clean hotel. Everything nearby. Staff is sweet and informative. Only lil thingy is the bedsheets options are limited and quite small. The main bedsheet a big duvet is too hot but there is no simple sheet, so i had to remove the bedsheet cover and only use it and not the duvet.

Staff was great, nice central location, breakfast was good lots of choice, and the room was clean it was nice to have staff come in and replace towels and make bed. The one thing I would say is the room was quite small, my husband is 6’4 and 300lbs so the bathroom was very very small and room was hard to move around if 2 people.

The room was small by North American standards, but functional. The washroom was very tight, I had to open the shower doors to sit squarely on the toilet, and the shower was really small, but in saying that, it all worked well. The breakfast was excellent as was the staff in the breakfast room. I would certainly consider staying again if I found myself in Oslo. The location was convenient for walking to restaurants and the tram was just around the corner.
