Lovely location, property is well designed but needs updating in its overall conditions i.e grouting in bathrooms and fixtures. Overall staff pleasant, but during my stay in my opinion only one member of the front reception desk delivered a 5* service with a smile. The others lacking- apologies I didn't get her name.

Nobody really seemed to be in charge of the details. We had our bed turned back once in a four night stay. The water bottles in our room were not replenished each day. The desk staff did not review my reservation with me until the close of my stay and informed me that I had not used the spa feature that I paid for in the reservation. For this to be a high end boutique hotel it lacked a lot of customer care. As a frequent global traveler I would not staff here again.

Our stay at The Thief in Oslo was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the reception was warm and welcoming, and we were genuinely touched by the thoughtful little treats and gifts left in our room since we were celebrating our birthdays and anniversaries.
