Friendly and welcoming employees. Best breakfast buffet I've had for selection and quality at Egon Restaurant. Central location inside a mall (with a grocery store and convenience stores), next to Oslo S (the Central Station for trains including to/from airport), and steps from buses/trams. Walkable to sites like the Opera house, Aker Brygge.

Very convenient location. The superior twin room is surprisingly big enough for our family of 2 Adults and 3 teenagers. Highly recommended.

Nice beds. Very clean. decent breakfast, although the eggs were less than warm. Close to Oslo S, shopping and all public transport. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful, in particular Gerald and Birendra. Very affordable. This is the only place I will stay if I’m staying in downtown Oslo.

The hotel itself is OK but the "family room" is so small. There's hardly any space for suitcases. If you're a family of 4 consider booking two rooms. I asked for a different room but they said that is the size of al rooms of this type which is tiny.

Everything was good just the rooms are quite small with kids. Hotel and receptionist are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely only problem was to find table even we booked a slot to avoid the crowd. But overall was good holiday.

Scandic Byporten is an nice hotel with modern rooms. Although the rooms are small, they are clean and functional. The hotel is well located next door to Oslo Central Station (and within a shopping Centre). Breakfast at the hotel is served next door at the Egon restaurant. Breakfast was incredibly crowded and difficult to get a seat. The hotel was very full over Easter weekend and our room, despite requesting it to be, was not cleaned. I had to complaint. It was eventually resolved.

Wir wollten 2 Einzelbetten, hatten 1 Bett was zusammengeschoben war. Somit hatten wir immer die Bettritze, da nur 1 Bettlaken. Check in erst Später möglich, da Systemausfaĺl. Handtücher so mini, kein normaler Mensch kann sich das einmal umschwingen. Waren auch minderwertige Qualität. Duschgel nur für Männer geeignet, da Moschusduft. Personal freundlich und bemüht.

Front desk staff was excellent! She deserves a raise! Loved the location, and it being right in the middle of everything. I had a car, so finding out how to get to the garage was an adventure. But once I found it, everything was great! Thanks so much!
