Hotel show! 😍🌹

I don't usually make reviews due to lack of time, but this hosting deserves it. I was surprised by such cleanliness of the hotel. It is an old (historic) hotel, but the facilities are absolutely impeccable. At the entrance before going to the rooms, there is a super cozy room, a kind of mini museum. Everything INCREDIBLY preserved and clean, very clean! A smell of cleanliness, smell of luxury! The comfortable rooms with impeccable breakfast with noble cheeses, smoked salmon, mushrooms and other items of a perfect breakfast. And finally, AND MOST IMPORTANT, I need to talk about employee Jeanette! What a sympathy! What a customer welcome! Our family loved Jeanette and all the other employees (but she became our favorite😍). We left a note at the reception thanking you. Thank you, Reenskaug! We will come back for the quality of the space and the service!!!

Great place to stay

Very nice old hotel. Staff is very friendly and we fell welcome from the moment we arrived. Great breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Small room, but had all we needed. Perfect location in the city center

Rummet som vi fick, står det en stor lapp: Öppna inte fönstren (30 grader ute) Vi fick bytt rum. Loungemusik spelas utanför fönstret till kl 01:00 utan att gäster är där. All rök från cigarretter går rätt in i rummet. Frukosten var dock bra och läget mysigt.

Veldig bra standard og fint interiør i hallen og restauranten, men rommet sto ikke i stil… Spartansk innredet, kun det aller nødvendigste der. Måtte betale høy og lite fleksibel parkeringspris rett utenfor hotellet, selv om det på nettsiden til hotellet står at det er gratis parkering for hotellets gjester. Resepsjonisten mandag dag/ettermiddag og tirsdag morgen, en ung kvinne, var veldig blid, imøtekommende og hjelpsom, så en ekstra stjerne til henne!! Servicenivået til de andre ansatte i resepsjon og restaurant var noe mer varierende… Stuepikene var hyggelige, blide og hjelpsomme!

Ikke så veldig "historisk"....

Den "historiske" delen av hotellet er gjort om til en slags nattklubb på kveldstid, som man hører godt også i det nye tilbygget. De skrudde riktignok av bråket etter klokken 12, men det er antagelig årsaken til at rommene i hovedbygget ikke ser ut til å brukes. Rommet i tilbygget var ganske spartansk for å si det mildt, ingen varmekabler på badet og nokså nære "hostel" standard. Men det er rent og frokosten var bedre enn forventet, hjelpsomme ansatte.

Fantastic service, gorgeous hotel, great location.

We traveled to Drobak to visit the Christmas house/Christmas festivities. The town was very quiet as it was mid week. There were not many Christmas decorations in the town, but the hotel was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and the staff was unsurpassed. It was an easy walk from the hotel to everywhere in town. The beautiful restaurant served the best food I’d had since starting our travels 3 weeks prior through Belgium, France and Germany. The room was small but adequate and very cozy.

Kjempefint opphold

Veldig koselig med hele lørdag i sjarmerende Drøbak. Vi ankom allerede i 10-tiden, og innsjekking på historiske Reenskaug Hotel var først kl 1500. Vi stakk innom for å spørre om det var mulig å få rommet litt tidligere - og møtte verdens mest serviceinnstilte, hyggelige resepsjonist. Hun løp og sjekket om rommet var klart og kom tilbake med hyggelig svar: Vær så god, rommet er klart til dere! Det høynet virkelig oppholdet at vi fikk rommet 5 timer på forskudd; og kunne rusle i byen og tilbake til rommet for å ta en pause! Å bo på Reenskaug Hotell var supert - kjempegod service, fint rom og nydelig mat; både middag og frokost. Dette anbefaler vi på det varmeste!
