This is a great little hotel in an excellent location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are on the smaller side, but very comfortable. The included breakfast was plentiful, as was the evening meal. I really cannot fault this hotel and would definitely hope to stay here again when travelling to Oslo.

You will not get a better deal! Yes, the rooms are small, that being said, it's clean, super comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinner buffets are included. You are close to everything!

The whole Hotel was excellent. The Breakfast, Fika and Dinner were very good. Loved the sauna and fireplace in the dining room. But the best part of the whole stay was Alisa the afternoon desk clerk. She was so nice and any questions we had or requests we made she did her best to make it happen. Excellent employee… Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!

Hotel Bastin was perfectly close located to tte dock of our cruise ship. Walking to the opera house and Christmas market was all an easy walk. Tte moment we entered the hotel we felt welcomed. The breakfast has a wide variety of food, all delicious! Dinner and afternoon Fika we enjoyed very much in a home atmosphere, sitting on tables next to the fireplace was so inviting during cold winter days. Would book it again!
