I often stay at Frogner Apartement House Arbinsgate when I go to Oslo for work. The check in is easy. The cleaning is perfect. A good option when want a bit more than a hotel room. Good value for your money.

Great staff, but unbearable heat and no air con

Infortunately, the extreme heat ruined our stay. There was no air conditioning in the apartment, and the fans provided were not nearly sufficient. A child in our family with health vulnerabilities due to previous medical issues was unable to tolerate the heat, and we seriously considered ending the trip early. Under such conditions, the apartment felt unsafe – especially for babies, elderly people, or anyone with health concerns. It’s important to say that the staff were very helpful and did what they could – especially one staff member who truly tried to support us. This is not a criticism of the staff, but of the hotel chain’s management, who choose to rent out apartments without air conditioning during extreme weather. Guests should be clearly informed of this in advance.

Apartment is in a street opposite the palace. Ideally located and walking distance to everything in central Oslo. 5 minute walk from Nationaltheatret train station. 25 mins walk to Vigeland Park. Apartment was comfortable and loved having the kitchenette setup. Self checkin worked well. If Oslo wasn’t the last leg of my holiday, I would’ve made use of their free laundry setup. Definitely recommend it.

Excellent location. Room was great. Reserved for 3 people but only supplied duvet, towel and pillow for 2 people - got them on our 2nd day. Disappointed by the broken elevator - we have 3 senior citizens in our party and we were assigned a room in the 2nd floor and one in the 4th floor. The stairwell floor covering is overdue for shampooing, it smells bad.

The property was a nice basic mini apartment that bathroom was a bit retricting as in a tight loft space The room i was issued was on the 5th floor the only minor issue with this was the elevator only goes from level 1 to 4 so getting heavy luggage up a long spiral staircase is a bit of an annoyance after a long trip. The only other issue i had was that i was only given a single duvet and it gets pretty cold in oslo if you dont keep on the heating so could benefit from a extra blanket in the room or a larger duvet to make quests more comfortable.

Schönes Apartment für einen Städtetrip mit Kindern. Apartment hatte ein bequemes Bett im Schlafzimmer und Ausziehsofa im Wohnbereich mit offener Küche. Verhältnismäßig großes Bad. Vieles ist zu Fuß erreichbar und die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind auch nicht weit. Supermärkte um die Ecke. Idealer Aufenthalt in Oslo.

Very convenient location and easy to check in out of hours. Nice studio apartment. Fan given when requested. Did the job perfectly. Good ameneties within the apartment. Only downside was that the bedding seemed to not have been changed as there was sand on our bed when we arrived.

I’m really happy with this room. Overall it’s in nice shape and a great deal for the cost. Check in was easy. The faucet needs some repair (loose but works). Really glad I rented this spot. It’s my first night in Oslo and glad this room turned out to be so nice. The kitchen has all basics like pots, table ware, kettle, fridge etc.

Meget varmt, men god beliggenhed

Det ligger rigtig godt. Tæt på Centrum, men ikke så tæt på at der er en masse larm. Vi kom en dag hvor der var meget varmt og lejligheden var MEGET varm - til trods for en blæser tændt og vinduer åbne.
