Extra spacious room, comfy beds, friendly staff, useful amenities. One downside was that it takes a few minutes until the shower water gets hot. Otherwise everything was great for its price. I would definitely use this place again.

We had a great stay! The hotel has a really cute rooftop terrace with a great view of the city. On-site laundry was convenient. Theres also a little gym in the basement. Good location! Great staff! My only downside was that the property is a bit run-down and dusty. There were stains on the carpet and curtains in our room, and visible dust in the air. However, its a great deal if you are not planning on spending a lot of time in your room.

This is a very basic hotel, there is no tea and coffee making facilities, the hair dryer is useless and other than 3 coat hangers on the wall there is no place to hang clothes. There is no plug socket near the mirror and the lighting in the room is poor. The mattress on the bed are thin and the beds are very narrow, the duvet bearly covers the bed. There is no safe in the room. On the plus side the hotel is in a good location and the staff are friendly.

I like the Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget Oslo. I chose this hotel mainly because of its good location. It is a fifteen minute walk from the main station, and is close to the main tourist attractions. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. My room was a little small, but was comfortable and clean. The hotel was good value for money. I would happily stay there again.

Excellent budget hotel (By Norway standards). 10 minute walk from the station and it's excellent transport links. Hotel is walkable to all main sites and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Modern clean and everything you need. Rooms are budget but are small clean and modern. Reception has food and drinks available 24/7. Washing machines are available too but you do have to pay to store your luggage. Cheapish,comfortable and in the heart of Oslo. Decent for a couple of nights.

We loved this Hotel. It is not for you if you are looking for fancy or even 3 star amenitues but the soft spring coil mattress with foam topper was comfortable. The duvet and pillows were excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the atmosphere is hip and the whole place is geared toward longer stays. And the location is perfect. 15 min walk to the oslofjord(waterfront) and closer to other key sites. Very walkable area of the city. They are working hard at environmental sustainability. The back side of the hotel has a view of the city but it is in the centre of the Oslo nightclub scene so weekends are noisy if your window is open. However you really feel part of the energy of the city.

The property itself was clean and the staff very welcoming. One has to pass through a neighbouhood that doesn’t feel as welcoming to reach this property and the smell in the lobby was a bit off. Hotel is well located within easy walking distance of plenty of shops, bars, restaurants etc The room was a bit more compact that expected, although it was the size listed on this website (14sqm) the photos of rooms have a different layout to the room we got which made them look more spacious, eg we had to walk sideways to get into the far side of the bed as there was approx 1ft of space around the bed - this also left a bit of a quandary where to leave our suitcase as there wasn't really any storage space for clothes. I also had a mild panic when on the toilet as I couldn't see any toilet roll - the toilet roll holder was bizarrely UNDER the sink. However the shower was fantastic and the room was clean and quiet and good temperature. Not sure what was going on with the bed, but the bedsheet was not much larger than the mattress topper (approx 2" deep, where as you'd normally expect a bed sheet to fit around a standard entire mattress?) which meant every morning it had come loose which was mildly annoying. The TV had a mix of Norwegian and Swedish TV channels some of which showed English language programs, but it did not seem possible to cast your phone to the TV. There was a good amount of plug sockets in the room. Worth noting (i feel, as I've never encountered a lock system like this), that when you leave the room it does not lock automatically, you have to push the handle up then hold your keycard to the door to lock it, we did self check-in so unaware of this quirk.

The hotel and service is quite amazing, the receptionists that were there, very service-oriented... so that was really awesome. The room is cool! very nice. the points to change, is that there is no space to cupboard, so I am travelling a lot, and I travel with a big luggage... practically everything stayed in my luggage, but that bcomes a bit messy right... And the last point is that the AC system is not existing, and the ventilation system is too weak for the days when it's really really warm... I love to be warm much more than others... but now it was really really warm! beside that, those 2 points, I definitely recommend

I was very late checking in but the guy on the desk was unfazed! He was super helpful and found me a lower room in the building so I didn’t have to trek up and down too many steps (I’m not a fan of elevators). Room was well laid out, good shower.
