Oskarshamn Hotel

We selected this hotel because of its location and positive reviews. We were in the area to visit relatives of my father’s father. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast and fika and dinner were delicious. There is a set menu for dinner, in addition to salad options. Fresh fruit for breakfast was a treat. All staff were friendly and helpful. There were even games, including chess, checkers, dominoes, and others. It was a short walk to the Doderhult Museum. We visited from Michigan, USA.

Affordable and nice hotel

Nice, affordable and centrally located hotel including Swedish fika, dinner and breakfast. We booked an extra bed, but at arrival there were no extra bed due to "a small room", according to staff. However, an extra bed would easily have fitted the room.

Rent værelse men nusset restaurant.

Rent værelse men lidt plads. Hygiejnen i restauranten trænger til et skub. Hyggen med sterinlys i hele restauranten manglede. Der skal helt rene glas til. Vinduerne trænger til en pudsning indvendigt som udvendigt. Tunge grydelåg på aftenens buffet. Fedtede glasholdere til fyrfadslys på bordene. Vi havde betalt for en el ladeplads. Men mere end 1 gang måtte vi holde på andre pladser, når vi kom retur efter dagens udflugt. Tror de mangler nok personale på hotellet

Mycket litet ”dubbelrum”,det jag Alltid saknar i ett rum är en fåtölj el.dyl.inte bara en ”pinnstol” vid skrivbordet som på Post,och ett kylskåp…det ska bara finnas ! Och varför är Alltid Tv:n placerad på en vägg med idén att man ska ligga för att titta på den ???
