A fantastic hotel overall. The room was a little on the small side and limited storage, however I find this to be the case in most hotels in Japan’s big cities. The hotel itself was excellent, the staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet every morning was always fresh and well stocked and the staff up there were always so kind, helpful and generous. The hotel is also superbly located, with a 7-eleven connected directly and countless restaurants on the doorstep. It’s also great for shopping with so many flagship stores in and around umeda all within a short walk. Osaka Station City which includes a number of stations including Umeda is also only a 5-6 minute walk. This means the connection to Shin-Osaka for the Shinkansen is only a 5 minute ride on the Midsuoji line from Umeda. Oh and the lovely charming cafes of Nakazakicho are just a 10 minute walk away. I feel it’s THE best location in Osaka on many levels. Minasan, hontōniarigatōgozaimashita!

The stay was great. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful and polite. This is the best location for a few reasons. It's right on top of Umeda station. This is basically a huge mall and food area with mostly locals living their daily lives. While still a busy area, there really aren't very many tourists in this area which is great. There is a small Sushi spot under the street that was my favorite place to eat sushi in Japan.
