The room was large enough for a solo traveler with several pieces of luggage to comfortable stay there for a few days. The buffet is pretty good and the hotel is perfectly located above a subway station exit for quick and easy access to the subway. The water is noticeably better than at other hotels that I've been to.

I don’t understand how this hotel has such high ratings. I stayed at five other hotels in Japan in the same price range, and this was by far the worst. Rooms and facilities are basic and outdated. The bathroom is poorly designed—the shower handle is faulty, the curtain is not wide enough so water spills everywhere, and the shampoo/soap are cheap neon liquid. The hair dryer is old and kept collapsing mid-use. Breakfast was bad. The food quality was the lowest we’ve seen. If you are gluten-free or have dietary restrictions, don’t waste your mone-you’ll be left with steamed mushrooms and a piece of fish. No allergy-friendly options. Laundry service was equally frustrating. I came as the dryer cycle ended and found staff removing our clothes—still wet. We needed another 30 minutes but weren’t allowed. We had to hang everything around the room and put back in a dryer at 6am before leaving. No complimentary water in the room either.

This property was connected to the subway station and was super convenient to access anywhere in Osaka. We didn’t explore much around the hotel (except to visit convenience stores for snacks)—we mostly just exited the hotel to the subway station and went to other areas of Osaka to eat, shop, and sight see. The room was a little small, but we managed fine with two people. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast at the hotel had a wide selection and the eating area had a nice view.

Quiet, clean and easy access from subway.

Very happy with my stay here. The room was dead quiet, clean and comfortable. Bonus: The window in the room can be opened, which is super appreciated on days when the weather is really nice. Bonus 2: They provide an extra "key" that can be used to keep the electricity on when you're away from your room. Breakfast was good, though for those of us staying multiple days a bit more daily variety would be appreciated. You can get to this hotel directly from Yodoyabashi station if you head towards exit 2 and veer right, walking along Keihan Main line subway (on your left) towards Exit 16 (see picture).

Very easy access from Shin-Osaka station if you’re taking the Shinkansen in. Just take the subway 4 stops and get off at Yodayabashi station. Then take the Kita exit (has escalator and elevator for luggage). You can follow the long underground tunnels to get directly to the hotel without going outside if it’s either raining or too hot. Go all the way up the tunnel, then turn to the right and you’re at the basement of the hotel, where you can take the elevator to the 3rd floor reception desk. Hotel is clean and modern, standard size rooms for Japan, but they’re comfortable with a decent size washroom and full tub. Rooms have a mini-fridge for your drinks. I like that they have all-in-1 laundry facilities on the 3rd floor for 400-500¥ depending on the size of your load, and you can monitor the status of the machines from your TV. Breakfast is reasonable though not the biggest food selection in a hotel I’ve stayed in. Lots of convenience stores nearby.

Good Facilities Can't Save Terrible Service

The room and facilities exudes a clean modern look, and appears quite new. The location is convenient as it's a few minutes away from Umeda and Namba. The elevator of the hotel leads to the subway station underneath. The hotel room was stuffy; you will need to crack open the window and use the air purifier at the same time. It was comfortable overall, however the front desk's customer service is quite lacking. There was only 1 front desk attendant that actually appeared welcoming while all the other ones couldn't care less. On the second day we asked a female front desk attendant about using a shipping service (Kuro Neko Yamato or an alternative) to ship our luggage to the airport prior to check out. The lady looked irritated and told us they don't do that then told us to go to the convenient store to ship our luggage. She gave us a map of the area and pointed to the closest Lawson and Family Mart. So we headed to Lawson to inquire and the clerk at Lawson told us they don't do that. The next day we asked the front desk about reserving a large taxi to help us go to the airport with all our luggage. The guy at the front desk told me that there's no such thing as large taxis in Japan. Unsympathetic to our issue, he said they could reserve a regular taxi instead. The next front desk guy I spoke with looked so irritated when I asked if English was okay. He frowned at me and went back to get another guy. At this point I had it with this hotel. I will not stay there again.
