The rooms are small but good amenities and a helpful staff. Location is excellent as it is close to transportation (subway, train to airport) as well as popular sites. Plenty of dining and shopping around.

Mr. O. Watanabe and staff greeted me warmly upon arrival. All staff displayed excellent customer service, being professional, kind and helpful. The housekeeping ladies on floor five are very nice, meticulous in cleaning detail and always had my room and linens looking perfect when I returned in the evening. The front desk staff give good directions and transportation suggestions in English, if needed. They took special care in keeping my luggage after check out, while waiting to go to the airport. This hotel is across the street from the Namba Nankai Station. making it convenient for train to airport and travel access. The area offers an extensive variety of shopping and sightseeing options within walking distance. I felt very safe, valued as a customer and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sosetsu Fresa Inn at Namba in Osaka. I highly recommend this hotel.

probably the most convenient location possible. walking distance to dotombori and namba station, and less than 20 feet from a subway entrance direct to the midosuji line. the room was comfortable and clean, as well. the location alone, however, should be the major selling point of this hotel, especially if you plan on spending many late nights out in dotonbori.

Great location, acceptable room size

The room size is typical for central Osaka. Best thing about this hotel is their location - it’s close to all the major shopping streets and department stores. Nankai railway is only a brisk 5-minute walk with steps free access.

This is a great place to stay! One big tip - if you have luggage take exit 5 which has an escalator going up. Then cross the street with your rolling luggage. Do not take exit 7 which has tons of stairs. This hotel is clean, the rooms are better arranged than something like APA. There's a family mart below, also a buffet. The hallways and elevators are AC. There is an Ippudo close by, there are tons of places to eat including Matsuya right around the corner. It's easy walking distance to Dotombori and KUROMON MARKET. When you have to leave, the Nankai Rapit is right across the street and will take you to Kansai airport. Overall fantastic!

It was an amazing stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Osaka Namba Hotel. The service was really nice and they were all very helpful specially the two ladies at the front desk. The location is also perfect for us easy to go to alot of places and very accessible by train. The hotel is eco friendly and very clean..very nice people! We would stay there again if given a chance to come back to Osaka real soon.

You can see the hotel immediately after coming out of exit 5 from midosuji subway line. Just need to cross the street diagonally and will arrive at hotel in 2 mins. Many dining options available nearby and walking distance to shinsaibashi/dotonbori area. Room and bed were comfy.

First thing we noticed upon walking into our room was a strong smell of urine. Room was extremely small which we expected. We asked for housekeeping to come by and clean our room after 2 days of being there (trash cans were very small and filled), and nobody ever came. Overall, would not stay again.

The room was a lot smaller than the other properties I stayed at in Japan. But it has everything you need. I don't think it would be great for more than one person though. The bathroom is also a little small. But all of your necessities are provided in the lobby plus some pajamas and there's laundry there. You're right next to a family Mart. It's on the ground level, you're across from the train station. The only thing is if you come from the train station with a lot of luggage. Don't listen to Google maps and take exit 9 or 10 :00 to get out. I think it's it's exit number 5 that has an escalator and it's maybe across the street from the hotel. There is a yakitori place that's pretty good next door. It's a fine, economical stay. I didn't have any issues.
