Namba Oriental Hotel's best part is the location, central, middle of the buzz and very dynamic, you step out into a video game literally! I liked the cleanliness of the room, the hotel staff and the laundry facilities as well as breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very clean room and the location was incredible. Close to night life and shopping. The major train station was a 4 minute walk away. For rainy season it was convenient to walk under a roofed mall to the entrance of the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel in the middle of the entertainment district of Namba and within easy walking distance to Dotonbori. There are numerous great restaurants and bars close by and Namba walk with all its shopping is approx 50 metres from the hotel. You can easily walk from Namba Station via the underground walkway which makes it very convenient depending on weather. The hotel has complimentary laundry facilities and the guest lounge is great with complimentary alcohol and snacks. The buffet breakfast is delicious with a variety of food options but at 3,600 yen per person there are cheaper options nearby.

The laundry room was extremely useful and the vacuum packing machine was a plus. The room was a bit tight but it’s probably because we had 3 beds. Location of the hotel was convenient for food and shopping. The only negative about the location was the noise and sensory overload once you step outside. Overall we were happy.

Location was wonderful, breakfast buffet great, and the laundry lounge was surprisingly the highlight of this hotel. The rooms themselves are dated and the hallways throughout were smokier than other hotels we stayed at, which was the only downside. This felt like a Las Vegas hotel- if you want something central, fun, and don’t mind the room- this is your pick. The front desk was also very kind.
