The grounds were beautiful. We stayed in the main lodge building. The biggest downside would be that their carpet needs to be replaced because it is a tripping hazard. The beds were small and uncomfortable. We definitely enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pool. The kids loved the game room.

Very beautiful area and great staff. We booked "the LODGE" thru Expedia and when we checked in they sent us to some other rooms not inside the Lodge.(apparently overbooked)...these rooms were sad...no fridge...no cleaning service...walk up a large hill...very old and disappointing. The Lodge was much nicer...(where we thought we were going) and the amenities were good. We made the most out of it but sadly they would need to invest more into the property before I sign up again for another trip here. Also, the whole area is called Four Seasons and has no affiliation with "Four Seasons Hotel" in any way-yet not promoted that way!

Run absolutely disgusting filled with spiders roaches and ants. Side table had no power phone didnt work beds were dirty. When addressed with the hotel staff at the front desk we were told they could do nothing about it. For this supposedly being a high class Hotel and charging the amount of money that they are I would be better off staying at a Motel 8 as it's the same condition but at least a lot cheaper the only plus side was the pool being pretty cool.

The room we received was on the first floor. It was dated and not very quiet. The patio door would not open without A LOT of effort. The water power in the shower was so low and NEVER was more than lukewarm at best. The was only a USB connector on one side of the bed. We were unchanged $22 for a resort fee for an overnight stay. We won't return to the Lodge when we next stay at the Lake.

It's a great place to stay as long as you get a good room. Some rooms are better than others. It's an older resort, so some of the rooms need some upgrades and basic maitenance but other than that, it's a good place to stay.

The lodge of The Four Seasons is not the Ritz Carlton and that’s OK. We only stayed one night as we were in town temporarily. However we did enjoy the massive pool and hot tub. This is our go to place for a classic Lake of the Ozark styled resort!
