Hotel Duomo is perfectly located for exploring Orvieto. The hotel is stylishly decorated and room 204 was very comfortable. The breakfast selection was good and tasty. The sour cherry tart was delicious. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly especially Pietro who helped secure us a taxi after midnight as we missed our train at Rome. Riccardo too was very friendly. Pleased we chose Orvieto and Hotel Duomo.

Great hotel in this impromptu stop we made in Orvieto! Beautiful town with lots of history, charm and friendly folks. If you want a taste of Italy away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. We enjoyed a night in the charming town of Orvieto between touring Rome and Florence. The Hotel Duomo was clean, comfortable and located just off the central square. The staff were helpful and welcoming and they provide a very nice breakfast. One note - if you need a taxi to the train station, ask for it to come 15 minutes earlier than you actually need. Our 8am taxi arrived at 8:15 and we missed our train to Florence unfortunately.
